The True Story Behind the Set of Beasts of the Southern Wild...

"Today Isle de Jean Charles and Pointe au Chien, a part of Terrebonne Parish locals call “The Bathtub,” are threatened by costal erosion and political red tape. Coastal erosion is a major threat along much of the Louisiana shoreline. The levees that girdle the Lower Mississippi River have robbed the delta of the silt deposits necessary to keep the low-lying land from disappearing under the constant pressure of the tides."

Now a confidential report obtained by The Associated Press and interviews with company representatives show that the EPA had scientific evidence against the driller, Range Resources, but changed course after the company threatened not to cooperate with a national study into a common form of drilling called hydraulic fracturing. Regulators set aside an analysis that concluded the drilling could have been to blame for the contamination. For Steve Lipsky, the EPA decision seemed to ignore the dangers to his family. His water supply contains so much methane that the gas in water flowing from a pipe connected to the well can be ignited.

Ken Salazar's Secret Shame - You know about the Gulf oil spill. But in the past four years, the Interior Department has also presided over a ruinous wild horse program. The Denver Post reported first this morning that Ken Salazar, the Secretary of the Department of the Interior, will soon resign and leave his federal post in March. It's not an easy job. There are inherent tensions between nurturing industry and protecting the environment, between the pull to serve as a steward for public lands and the push to use that land for commerce or recreation. But by many measures, excluding his often laudable work on Native American issues, the Salazar era at the Interior Department has been a grim one, from the Gulf oil spill on down. Great idea! Why should we wreck our land and water for a bunch of other countries that should be looking for cleaner alternatives? Especially when it comes to natural gas, which we could be making much more naturally from human and animal waste by the very clean process of anaerobic digestion.

Enbridge Inc. wants to build two 1,100 km pipelines to Kitimat, B.C, where the oil would be loaded onto 225 tankers each year. These mega ships would then have to make their way through the narrow channels and fjords of the Great Bear Rainforest. Kinder Morgan wants to expand its pipeline from the oilsands to Burrard Inlet. If their plan went ahead, every day an oil tanker would sail past Vancouver, Victoria and the Gulf Islands. CN Rail wants to load oil onto trains to Vancouver or Prince Rupert. Tankers would sail through either B.C.'s north or south coast on their way to Asia.

NEW ORLEANS — U.S. District Judge Carl J. Barbier has declined to reconsider his order granting summary judgment to an Ecolab (NYSE: ECL) subsidiary

The federal judge overseeing the massive litigation over the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico ordered Wednesday those who opted-out of BP's economic and property damage settlement be offered a chance to get back in. The judge also ordered the court-appointed claims administrator to remind registered oyster leaseholders who did not opt-out of the settlement that the deadline to file a claim is approaching.

Robichaux, a former Louisiana state senator and LSU football star, has also written the attorneys general of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. He wants them to look at his opinion – from a medical perspective – that the settlement process has been “corrupted” because it ignores matters he sees of clear medical importance. Robichaux’s letter questions the manner in which claims of illness are being handled in the settlement. While court papers refer to various ailments related to exposure of people to crude oil and other chemicals, Robichaux says there is in no way enough emphasis on long-term effects. Chronic conditions that may still be developing as well as various cancers, in Robichaux’s opinion, are not being taken seriously. Failing to clearly state illnesses that he is convinced show signs of manifesting now, Robichaux maintains, could result in difficulty should people now involved in the settlement press claims of chronic illness later, even though there is some protection against that built into the settlement.

Now 1,000 days after the start of the crisis, the oil spill is a living disaster with lasting economic, environmental and community impacts. The people, wildlife and ecosystems of our vibrant but struggling region deserve justice to the fullest extent the law warrants. Unprecedented disasters deserved unprecedented levels of restoration funding. We anticipate continued rigor on behalf of the U.S. Department of Justice in holding BP and other parties, like Transocean, accountable for damages in the Gulf.

Few corporate sagas capture the virtues and vices of state-owned companies and private enterprise better than the drama of BP’s roller-coaster ride between failure and success. British Petroleum paid too little attention to profitability, constrained by its need to please elected officials who often cared more about keeping energy cheap and employment high. But in private hands, it may have cared about profits far too much, at the expense of other objectives. “BP veered from being a company that made sure nothing blew up to one focusing on cost-cutting at all costs,” Professor Fisman said.

If you have pondered how intelligent and educated people can, in the face of overwhelming contradictory evidence, believe that evolution is a myth, that global warming is a hoax, that vaccines cause autism and asthma, that 9/11 was orchestrated by the Bush administration, conjecture no more. If Barrack Obama says one thing he usually means another except in the rare case it is to take our individual Liberties. That is exactly is what he is doing. Biden said that "No one can predict how or when crime will happen" However insure us this will lower crime. We all know the FBI statistics. This puts us more in danger and allows the government to do what ever they want. This means we lose all rights to over throw a tyrannical government. So my question to the people will Barrack Obama and other liberals readily give up their armed security, arms and make government buildings gun free. More invasion of privacy to come....One executive action will be that affordable care act does not prevent doctors from asking if you have guns in the home.

So we have to look at if Barry is genuine. We will first look at the Fast & Furious Scandal as reported by ABC News which has all been swept under the rug. You also have to ask will America stop providing the world with 55% of automatic weapons used by bad people? I think we all know the answer for that. So why do they not want the people to have guns? In my opinion, so they can raise taxes and be even more corrupt with no accountability by the people. But again more so about the U.N. Gun Treaty and Agenda 21.
