6 November - Light News Surfing

I opened Bloglines for the first time in a while and noted backup was being provided by Netvibes.  Like Netvibes, there is provision for a Public ( sharable ) page.
MerchantCircle acquired by Reply! Inc. (And we're really excited!) was posted back in May. It looks like another viable online system has been generated.

Theoretical physicist Brian Greene returns to PBS, this time presenting The Fabric of the Cosmos, a four-part look at the “mind-boggling reality beneath the surface of our everyday world.” The first segment, “What Is Space?,” airs tonight at 9pm. Then come the remaining installments – “The Illusion of Time” (11/9), “Quantum Leap” (11/16), and “Universe or Multiverse?” (11/23). If you can’t catch the episodes on TV, they will be streamed online too at video.pbs.org.

Floodwaters have begun receding in some provinces north of the capital, and a major cleanup is planned in Ayutthaya this week
The flooding has not affected the country's resort-laden southern towns and islands like Phuket and Ko Samui. But a rash of flight, hotel and conference cancellations in Bangkok has those areas worried they could see a plunge in visits from tourists daunted by conditions in the capital.

But the only thing harder than protecting the country is protecting themselves from their own insecurity.
Now would we feel the same way if the label said TSA ? How about 'Get Smart' ?
