A 19th century footbridge in Forest Park. Though the bridge is little used today, many of the park's early visitors rode the streetcar from the city, got off at the Laclede Pavilion and, after a short walk, entered the park over this bridge. (The Laclede Pavilion, which was torn down in 1938, was near the corner of Kingshighway and Lindell) The footbridge was built in 1885 and restored in 1994. I took this picture myself and reserve no rights to this image. Bluelion 21:36, 15 May 2004 (UTC) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
