"For some of the people commenting negatively, I will explain it the way I just did for my ten year old. He got it. Will you?

 The reason for doing this kind of action is to draw attention to the problem. To a small extent, yes, it also ceases construction for a bit. But mostly it is to do something to get the media's attention, which in turn will get the word out to people that don't know that this atrocity is taking place. The mo(r)e people that know, the stronger our force for the good becomes.

 It has nothing to do with getting "15 minutes of fame" and everything to do with risking life and limb to protect the rest of us. Even *you* that doesn't believe climate change is a problem.

 To the activists working on our behalf-- thank you! Thank you! Thank you! My son wants to send you a muffin basket. And some fireworks. We are so grateful for your courage. We will join you when we can. .."
