When Pat Condell 'got it' re Israel

Not a sheep at Not a sheep - 37 minutes ago
'In the past Pat Condell, the famous YouTube commentator, while getting the Islam issue, was not pro-Israel and favored the delusion of a 'two-state solution' on the premise: "why can't the Jews and Arabs just get along?" This is the video from when he got it and understood the issue of the Arab-Israeli conflict and figured it out correctly that it is about Jew-hate. Pat is an atheist but has changed his mind about a 'two-state solution' and is now on the side of the Jews. Pat's commentaries are always politically incorrect and powerfully articulated. I defy you to read this article by the Toronto Star's Royson James and to still have the slightest sympathy for disgraced soon-to-be-ex-Mayor Rob Ford over his conflict-of-interest loss. On Aug. 25, 2010, council approved Leiper’s recommendations that Ford must reimburse the lobbyists’ $3,150. In opposing the move, Ford made a critical error. When Speaker Sandra Bussin called for the vote she specifically reminded Ford he had a conflict of interest in that the matter involved a financial benefit to him. Ford ignored her and voted. “Having ignored my warning, there was nothing more I... more »

Who conducted the deadly Benghazi attack!

*SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2012* *Andrew Rosenthal’s fuzzy assertion:* Friend, are you a press watcher? If so, the endless assault on Susan Rice has been one of the most instructive episodes in recent years. Consider what Andrew Rosenthal says in today’s New York Times. Rosenthal is a major player—he’s editor of the Times editorial page. Fecklessly, he offers the account which follows in today’s Sunday Review. Please note: In his feckless piece, Rosenthal is attacking John McCain and Rice’s other unhinged critics. Despite that, he seems to say or suggest that “al Qaeda” staged the attack... more »

Brzezinski’s Lament

Zbigniew Brzezinski (photo credit: Ted Lipien) Adask's Law Zbigniew Brzezinski is a Democrat who served as America’s 10th National Security Advisor from A.D. 1977 through A.D. 1981 under the Jimmy Carter administration. It strikes me as unusual, odd, even disturbing that Brzezinski became our National Security Advisor in A.D. 1977 since he’d already published his book *Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era* in A.D. 1970. Why? Because in that book, he predicted and apparently advocated the control of populations by an elite political class via technetronic ... more »

Another semester is behind me! I've now completed seven of eight terms, 14 of 16 courses. The expression "can't wait" doesn't begin to describe how eager I am to finish my degree next spring. Quitting my oppressive law-firm job continues to pay dividends every single day. I'm enjoying my life again. I am actually breathing more deeply. As is so often the case with tension and anxiety, I didn't fully realize how much that job was affecting me until I left. Going to school part-time and working one part-time job has been a breeze, especially now that I've got the school thing figure... more »

How Hamas (and the PA) brianwash children to hate Jews & to want to kill them and the result of this brainwashing

Not a sheep at Not a sheep - 2 hours ago
Just one example of the brainwashing Nassur, the bear puppet host on a Hamas children's TV program, uses different words for "slaughter" to describe how to rid Israel of Jews. First, the bear states that all Jews must be "erased from our land." Later he adds, "We want to slaughter them, Saraa, so they will be expelled from our land." He repeats, "...We'll have to [do it] by slaughter." He first uses the Arabic expression for "slaughter," "Nidbah-hom," and later uses the word "Shaht." Increasing Tax Rates On 98% Of Americans-- Republican Party Deranged Hostage Taking

DownWithTyranny at DownWithTyranny! - 2 hours ago
Last summer Reid thought it might take Vice President Biden to break the tie and help Democrats pass an extension of the Bush tax cuts for the first $250,000 of income for everyone. With Biden presiding, it passed 51-48without his vote, only Joe Lieberman and Jim Webb from the Democratic side of the aisle joining every single Republican to oppose it. Then Cantor and Boehner refused to even let the House consider it. So now we'll on the verge on tax rates going up on everyone. It shouldn't be, but this has been swept up into the definition of the terrorist tactic our political, medi... more »

Ever since the United Nations vote on Thursday, the Harper government has portrayed itself as a beautiful loser. It and eight other nations -- most notably the United States -- voted against support for Palestine. Canada, say the Harperites, is on the side of moral clarity. Haroon Siddiqui wrote yesterday in the *Toronto Star* that: The vote was overwhelming, more than two-thirds in favour — 138 for, 9 against and 41 abstentions. Much to Canada’s shame, Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird was among the loudest pipsqueak noises against the tide of history. Even the United States,... more »

Using DRM to Enable ebook Resales?

We all know that the DRM licence is often only as good as the availability of the server ,or service it was initiated and ‘stamped’ by. In other words you may have a perfectly valid and paid for copy of a title, but if for any reason you need to redownload it and the service has gone – poof! So has your licenced copy. Ok you may expect that, but when the licence is from a generic provider such as Adobe and their widely adopted ACS4 service you could transfer the licence but no, Poof, its gone! An interesting challenge when some may not be around into the future. We now read with ... more »
