* Review all aspects of air freight security and work with international partners to make sure UK defences were as robust as possible.
* Update the guidance given to airport security personnel based on what it has learned to enable them to identify similar packages in future.
* Extend the suspension of unaccompanied air freight to the UK not just from Yemen but also Somalia. She said the move was precautionary and would be reviewed in coming weeks.
* Suspend the carriage of toner cartridges larger than 500g in passengers' hand baggage on flights departing from UK airports
* Prohibit the carriage of these items by air cargo into, via or from the UK unless they originated from a known consignor - a regular shipper with security arrangements approved by the Department for Transport.
* The restrictions on toner will be in place for one month while a "sustainable, proportionate, long-term security regime" is developed.

Prof Nutt refused to leave the drugs debate when he was sacked from his official post by the former Labour Home Secretary, Alan Johnson.
He went on to form the Independent Scientific Committee on Drugs, a body which aims to investigate the drug issue without any political interference.
One of its other members is Dr Les King, another former government adviser who quit over Prof Nutt's treatment.

A driver involved in the UK's worst mass water poisoning has told an inquest he had to guess which tank to put 20 tonnes of aluminium sulphate in.

UK and France agree to joint nuclear weapons tests

The UK and France are to sign a treaty agreeing to the joint development and testing of nuclear warheads.
The plans will see one centre set up in the UK to develop technology and another in France to carry out testing.
Prime Minister David Cameron and President Nicolas Sarkozy will also outline plans, at a London summit, for a joint army expeditionary force.
