Here's a recording I recently discovered that's given me a great deal of pleasure. It's the Piano Concerto No. 3 in D Minor, Op. 30, by Sergei Rachmaninoff, which was premiered in 1909 in New York City. The soloist in this 2016 live performance is the young Italian pianist Costanza Principe, with the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana at the Politeama Theatre in Palermo conducted by György Ráth.
