Neglecting Prices Is a Big Analytical Error
In an interesting story about the logistics of baby formula shipments, the Wall Street Journal quotes a reflection from a freight broker executive (see Paul Page, “Baby-Formula Shipments Come With High Security to Deter Cargo Thieves,” May 28, 2022). The reflection is interesting because it points to a confused view: During the Covid-19 pandemic, items […] The post Neglecting Prices Is a Big Analytical Error appeared first on Econlib. read more

Court ruling could thwart Google censorship
Breitbart: A court in Ohio has ruled that a lawsuit from state Attorney General Dave Yost, which labels Google a common carrier subject to special regulations and litigation, can proceed, a significant development for Republicans seeking to hold tech companies accountable for bias and censorship. The legal drugs given to children, especially boys
Think about the amount of prescription drugs given to school kids. Tucker Carlson had some great statistics about that the other night, but without a citation, I couldn’t provide it. And because the MSM demonizes him, it’s hard to sift through a search. Many kids, especially boys, are given drugs from a very early age for ADHD. Probably if they could labor on a farm like most generations until the 1920s some of that energy could be put to use. A consistent side effect for many of the mind/behavior altering drugs is suicidal thoughts and aggressive behavior. Mix that with alcohol when... read more

The Democrats 'equity' racism
Washington Examiner: ... There is no doubt that achievement gaps exist between demographics in Virginia schools and all schools nationwide. But those gaps will not be closed by watering down tests to cover up their existence. The only way to close achievement gaps is to assess where they exist through testing and then aggressively help those students that need it. That is the path Youngkin has started down, and the commonwealth would be well off if he continued to do so. Getting rid of the "equity" crap is a first step in improving literacy for everyone. read more

Biden's sadistic energy polices
Deroy Murdock: As Americans start the summer driving season this Memorial Day weekend, they face gasoline prices that are memorable — for all the wrong reasons.
