War has been raging in Syria for a year and a half. An endless series of special operations, victories and retreats, a struggle between government forces and an armed opposition that takes place both with weapons on the ground and on the TV screen.

Even seemingly unimportant local battles are being discussed far abroad because the result of this war will impact not only the future of Syria. The situation here is splitting the world in half. This undoubtedly is another internal conflict with global consequences.

This film was made in field conditions to better tell the story of what's happening here.

"The obstructive snub to Iran’s sovereignty comes in the wake of the successful hosting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) last month in which some 120 member states gathered in Tehran. And it beggars belief that such a diplomatic mugging by Washington this week is not related to Iran’s new presidency of the NAM emphasizing the urgent need for an overhaul of the UN Security Council and greater democracy within the UN General Assembly to end the abusive political domination by the US."

Watch this video and your life will change permantely. David iche out does himself. A man starts hugging people and goes critical mass. Consciousness is doing what is right. Not what is easy not what conforms not what hates not what makes money. Consciousness is doing what is right. People are waking up all over the world. We shall overcome. We will sing the song of freedom with tears in our eyes. We shall overcome.

NASA's five THEMIS spacecraft have discovered a breach in Earth's magnetic field ten times larger than anything previously thought to exist. The size of the opening and the strange way it forms could overturn long-held ideas of space physics.

This past Sunday and Monday, two human rights lawyers, Antonio Trejo and Eduardo Diaz, were brutally murdered in Honduras, bringing to over 60 the number of victims caught in the struggle for life and land in the Bajo Aguan in Honduras. The debate over the production of food for families versus bio-fuels for corporations has reached a high note

There are 12 zodiac signs. Each progression is slighty more than 200 years. Each age slighty more than 2000 years. Because of a recent pole shift we go from the age of pices to aquarius. Nibiru has a 3600 year orbit. 7x3600 equals 10 mayen sub cycles. Approximately. I believe it is possible the two events originated together and are aligning these current days in history.

On Monday of last week, we were scheduled to have our long anticipated SOA Watch meeting with the White House to discuss the SOA/ WHINSEC. The timing is perfect, as Congress is being forced to cut 50% of its stateside military budget. However, on Sunday afternoon, we were told us that because of recent events in Libya and the Middle East, Denis McDonough, Obama's Deputy National Security Advisor, would not be able to attend and that we were to meet with two other Senior officials instead; Ricardo Zúñiga from Obama's National Security Staff and Frank Mora from the Pentagon. We rejected the meeting with them since it would have meant forgoing our opportunity to meet with McDonough. Since our delegation, composed of torture survivors, educators, religious and labor leaders, had already traveled to DC for the meeting, we decided to make lemonade out of lemons, and we spent the day strategizing with long time ally Representative Jim McGovern. The SOA Watch meeting with McDonough has been rescheduled for mid-October and will take place in the White House. We will ask the Administration to close the SOA and to end U.S. militarization!

‎"The Italian example proves that the forces behind a strategy of tension are not invincible. They also suggest that, if the dark forces of the deep state are to be defeated, this will take the combined resources, not just of the people, but of those elements in government that can, eventually, be aroused in search of the truth."

This is a great analysis of how the left uses liberalism and humanitarianism as cover for imperialistic conflict.

Modern slavery generates profit of over US $32 billion for slaveholders.

Modern slavery is profitable, generating at least US$32 billion in profits every year – more than the entire output of Iceland, Nicaragua, Rwanda, and Mongolia combined. And it isn’t just a problem in distant, poor countries; nearly half the total, an estimated $15.5 billion, is made in wealthy industrialized countries. Source: International Labor Organization
Slave labor contributes to the production of at least 122 goods from 58 countries worldwide.

Official U.S. government research identifies many products – such as diamonds from Africa, bricks from Brazil, and shrimp from Southeast Asia – as products that are commonly produced with slave labor. Around the world, people are forced to work with the threat of violence for little or no pay producing dozens of things we use every day, like soccer balls, flowers, and chocolate. A federal appeals court has reversed its own ruling from March of this year and judged the Army Corps is immune from financial consequences for its negligent maintenance of the MR-Go navigation channel.

While this is disappointing, it's not over for the survivors who can still appeal to the Supreme Court.

Bad news: You recall the massive BP oil spill two years ago. Some of our pelicans now have traces of oil and oil dispersant in their bodies. No one will say for sure that the chemicals came from the Gulf of Mexico, but the dispersant was used in the BP cleanup effort. The chemicals moved from adults to eggs. Tests of eggs collected by biologists this spring found oil traces in 20 of the first 22 eggs examined. Corexit, the oil dispersant used in the cleanup, was found in 18 of those eggs. The study continues. Read more here: http://www.startribune.com/lifestyle/homegarden/171191821.html
Lesions on red snapper found near BP well site - It's been just over two years since the Deepwater Horizon well was capped, ending the largest oil spill in U.S. history. But is it really over?
