Facebook Re-Enables Controversial Tracking Cookie

It is the first cookie that is set, for all users of Facebook, and right now is being set for everybody on any Facebook integrated site - logged in or not logged in.
The recent EU vs Facebook revelations about the data that Facebook stores for each users gave an interesting insight into the datr cookie. Below is a screenshot of some data from a user who retrieved their information using Europe vs Facebook. It shows machine ID's that were used to access that account, and the other accounts associated with that machine id.
Ashkan has again submitted a bug report to Facebook about the datr cookie. We hope it is disabled again promptly. If this cookie was re-enabled accidently, it would be good to know how such a thing can happen. If it was enabled intentionally, despite all previous statements about third-party cookies being set, then a statement on why would be appropriate.
Facebook keep the data collected for up to 90 days and then delete it. I believe them when they say this and that they are not hiding anything, but I also believe that our definitions of tracking differ. If you set a cookie on a users machine from one website, and then read that cookie from that persons machine from another website, that is tracking.

A Look at the Indian Health ServicePolicy of Sterilization, 1972-1976by Charles R. EnglandThe purpose of this article is to examine the reasons for and results of the investigations prompted by physicians, tribal leaders, and senators concerning allegations that the Indian Health Service (IHS) was indiscriminately sterilizing Indian women across the nation. This topic brings up several questions o

House GOP Targeting Title X In Push To Axe Family Planning Programs

- Title X, the federal family planning grant that funds birth control and preventative health services for more than five million low-income people annually, saves U.S. taxpayers massive amounts of money in Medicaid costs, but GOP lawmakers are trying to axe the program for the second time this year in the name of slashing the deficit.

Why the US public hates politics
Trust for the US government is at a record low, 22 per cent, as some see government as a threat to personal freedoms.

White House Foreclosure Prevention Program Had Minimal Oversight

Documents obtained by ProPublica — government audit reports of GMAC, the country’s fifth-largest mortgage servicer — provide the first detailed look at the program’s oversight. They show that the company operated with almost no oversight for the program’s first eight months. When auditors did finally conduct a major review more than a year into the program, they found that GMAC had seriously mishandled many loan modifications

The documents obtained by ProPublica show auditors finding serious problems at a major servicer during that time. Instead of publicly revealing the findings, Treasury chose to privately request that GMAC fix the problems.
“For two years, they’ve known how abysmal servicers were performing, and decided to do nothing,” said Neil Barofsky, the former special inspector general for the Troubled Asset Relief Program, better known as TARP or the bank bailout, which provided the money for HAMP.
“It demonstrates that if you have a set of rules for which compliance is completely voluntary and no meaningful consequences for those who violate them, having all the audits and reviews in the world are not going to make a bit of difference,” he continued. “It’s why the program has been a colossal failure.”

Larry Kibby: The Dreaded US Apology
http://bsnorrell.blogspot.com/2010/05/larry-kibby-dreaded-us-apology.html
On May 19, 2010, an event was held at the Congressional Cemetery in Washington, D.C., an event in which several Federal Representatives and several Tribal Representatives were in attendance, an event directed to the American Indians of these United States in which the Government issued a "Formal Apology for Ill-Conceived Policies and Acts of Violence committed against them."

The following comments are my own opinion and personal viewpoint of this event that took place on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, which in a manner of speaking is simple, what a "Sad Inhuman Joke!"
Turncoats, Tribal Corruption, Criminal Activity, Liars and Frauds have aided and abetted the American Government in its endeavor to distort, destroy and desecrate all that represents Indian Country, the Ancient Customs and Belief's of the American Indian.

517 years of Injustice, there is no real logical means that can unravel the continued on-going racial hate, prejudice and discrimination of the Governments so-called "Ill-Conceived Policies and Acts of Violence."

HOUSTON: Chevron arrests Truthtellershttp://bsnorrell.blogspot.com/2010/05/houston-chevron-arrests-truthtellers.html
Shareholders and shareholder representatives from around the globe holding legal proxies were refused entry to Chevron's annual meeting today. Five members of The True Cost of Chevron Network were subsequently arrested at the oil giants direction.
Communities affected by Chevron attempted to enter its annual meeting while more "True Cost of Chevron" network supporters rallied outside.

"Chevron CEO John Watson opened the annual shareholder meeting touting Chevron as a good neighbor and yet they locked the door for communities from Houston, Alaska, Canada, Burma, Nigeria, and Colombia. This is the way we have been treated at home and meeting them here was no different," explained Emem Okom, founder of the Kebetkuche Women Development and Resource Center of Nigeria.
