Leveson Inquiry - Control of the Press and Media by David Bell’s Common Purpose?

Commissioned by Common Purpose sponsor David Cameron, the Leveson Inquiry is tasked to examine the culture, practices and ethics of the press, in four modules. These are: 1. The press and the public, including phone-hacking and illegal behaviour 2. The press, police and public interest 3 The press and politicians. 4.  Recommendations for a more effective policy and regulation that supports integrity, ethical standards and freedom of the press.

Private Eye’s Hislop has hit the nail on the head, stating to the inquiry ...
I do think that statutory regulation is not required. Most of the heinous crimes that came up and made such a splash in front of this inquiry have already been illegal.
Contempt of court is illegal, phone tapping is illegal, policemen taking money is illegal. All of these things don’t need a code, we already have laws for them.
The fact that these laws were not rigorously enforced is again due to the failure of the police, the interaction of the police and News International - and let’s be honest about this, the fact that our politicians have been very, very involved in ways that I think are not sensible with senior News International people.
The MST is anything but independent, being funded by a shadowy network of vested foundation interests - Esmee Fairburn, Gatsby, Joseph Rowntree, Eranda, MacArthur, Knight, Nuffield, Pearson, Cohen, Story and Scott. Dig deeper and the threads include Sainsbury, Rothschild and Guardian Media Group. Deeper still is David Halpern’s Institute for Government with a board of ‘stars’ - Lord Sainsbury, Sir Roy Anderson, Sir Brian Bender, Jocelyne Bourgon, Sir Andrew Cahn, Lord Curry of Marylebone, Sir Christopher Foster and Lord Heseltine.....then there’s the Cabinet Behavioural Change Unit.....the list goes on and on.
The mix of vested interests in high powered banking and media is notable. And then there is Common Purpose.
From the outset the MST has repeatedly attacked and criticised the Independent Press Complaints Commission almost as if the MST saw itself as a Cuckoo in the press and media regulation nest. The incumbent IPCC needed to be ejected.
The UK Column exposed in August 2011 that the MST set up a website “Hacked Off” which then proceeded to inflate the phone hacking scandal at every opportunity. Using MST people and associates to do so. The domain name ‘hackinginquiry.org’ had been registered on 15 June some two weeks before the hacking scandal broke surface.
Johnston Press ( Sheffield Star )  published libellous and defamatory comments about a whistleblower, who on 5 November 2008,  exposed the links between Common Purpose, child abuse and paedophilia, and Common Purpose insider dealing and fraud within Sheffield City Council executives?
Public concerns raised with the Solicitor to the Leveson Inquiry regarding his ( David Bell ) connections with Common Purpose and its background in breaches of Data Protection, Membership Secrecy, insider dealing at Cabinet Office level to win contracts, insider dealing to procure public funding, failure to procure CRB checks, blatant hostility to public scrutiny via Freedom of Information, and the promotion of secret meetings with private and public individuals, were all swiftly rejected. Associated Newspapers also flagged up concerns with Bell.
If the UK Column is right that Leveson’s Inquiry will ultimately result in Bell’s Media Standards Trust replacing the Independent Press Complaints Commission, then we are in dire trouble. For MST is Common Purpose, and it is Common Purpose perverse political ideology which is being pumped through our public and private sectors at an accelerating rate.
Common Purpose control of the press and media, backed by their ongoing high level collaboration with Cameron and his Cabinet Office, means the end of free, open and accurate press and media reporting in the UK. Add the dangerous catalyst of Behavioural Change via Common Purpose and the governments Applied Behavioural Psychology units and we are in a Soviet State. Just a coincidence then that the roots of common purpose and common cause is Gramscian Marxism - itself closely aligned to Alinsky ideology embedded in Tory and Labour policy.
Journalists and media people need to wake up and very fast.

Behind The Oxford & Cherwell Valley College Threat of "Action" Against The UK Column

.....Within days of publishing, the UK Column received a telephone call from Anne Wilstead Public Relations Officer OCVC claiming that everything printed was untrue and threating ‘action’ if the story was not taken down from the UK Column website. Her call mirrored reports from students who stated that individuals who had tried to report and expose abuses at the college were usually ‘warned off’, suppressed or victimised.

5 December 2011, Ms Wilstead stated that:
Everything contained within that article [UK Column’s report on OCVC] is a complete fabrication and I would like you to remove it with immediate effect ... you [are] advised therefore that there will be action taken.
Aside from her threat of ‘action’ Ms Wilstead was very determined to find the source of the UK Column’s information. She also questioned whether our evidence was ‘ratified by the police.’ This latter comment was interesting and significant. Just why would evidence held by the UK Column need to be ratified by the police? And which police? There are already over close links between Thames Valley police and college staff suggesting an unhealthy common purpose.
It is understood that staff have been banned from visiting the UK Column website, and that an emergency meeting was called by College Head Sally Dicketts. Discussions apparently included a Mr John Guiver, whose name has allegedly been linked to accusations of abuse and breach of Duty of Care by a number of students before.
Oxford Mail reported 11 February 2010 that a college teacher from OCVC had shown porn to pupils and was suspended. Ms Wilstead is personally quoted stating that the allegations were [even then] two months old, an investigation was ongoing and no further comment could be made.
Victims of abuse at the college have made detailed statements testifying that not only was abuse wider and much nastier than this single case, but that the investigation by OCVC, police and Oxford County Council, within the confines of the Oxford Children’s Safeguarding Board was a sham.
It appears that the so called investigative report by Mr Ray Tregear, believed acting for Taunton Education Consultants FE Associates, was never revealed to victims, nor were the findings made known.
Although FEA apparently charged a total of £5,175 for the report, Director Judith Richardson refused to answer direct questions put to her.
Victims, including both boys and girls, have made harrowing verbal and written reports of abuse against a number of OCVC staff and are quick to point out that the college was quick to ‘manage’ the situation rather than protect those coming forward.
Victim statements reveal details of vile and sadistic pornography on computers and phones, crude sexual advances to girls, racist language towards Black and Asian students “stupid paki”, nigger, monkey boy” encouragement of alcohol in the college, workshops and in local pubs, physical abuse leaving students bruised, unexplained injuries, violent attacks on students, sexual relations between staff and young girls, victims being forced to to endure torture by holding car batteries and humiliation by asking them to take their trousers down. Corroborating statements reveal that the college ignored reports or ‘warned off’ those complaining.
Multiple victims state they were shown pornography on computers and mobile phones, and yet OCVC computer hard drives were never impounded by police. Why did OCVC spend circa £104,487 suddenly replacing 200 computers at the time abuse allegations were circulating?
In July 2011 Armstrong stated “no disclosures were made that would indicate serious risks to children.” Yet at that time he must surely have known that not all disclosures had been investigated. He was aware that a member of staff was sacked for making allegations of abuse at the college, but he appeared relaxed that he did not know what these allegations by an adult staff member were.
So sensitive is the OCVC abuse case that local Councillors appear reluctant to take action. Lynda Atkins Councillor for Wallingford and Brightwell-cum-Sotwell was shown the written and detailed concerns of one female badly abused at the college. Despite requesting confidentiality and suitable protection for this and other victims, Atkins passed matters straight back to those who had originally failed to investigate and protect vulnerable students.
In a report dated August 2011 following a joint investigation into some 25 cases of professional abuse around child safeguarding services in Pembrokeshire County Council, the conclusion stated:
There has been a lack of oversight by elected members and officers, at the most senior level within the authority, of the management and handling of cases of alleged professional abuse in education services.
The absence of effective governance in relation to safeguarding and protecting children reflects the specific failures within the culture of the authority as a whole. The shortcomings with the authority’s arrangements to safeguard and protect children are longstanding and systemic. This is indicative of the deep-seated nature of these problems and failings within the authority.
The report also highlighted there was little evidence that parents or carers had been helped to understand the process, told the result of the inquiry or disciplinary process or helped to understand the outcomes reached. This lack of transparency raises questions as to whether the protection of the child is always given priority over the reputation of the authority.

Dispatches Psyop

Dispatches solution to high energy prices was not, as you might think, to vilify the energy companies for giving away 40% of our energy bills to shareholders as dividends. No, no, no. Although this was mentioned in passing, the main thrust was that the energy companies should hang their heads in shame for living in the twentieth century. Here in the twenty-first century, all homes should have a "smart meter."
With a smart meter, all our problems go away. We can fight off the hypothermia with the warm glow we get from knowing that our energy usage is being monitored at all times and that data is sent back to the energy company at half hourly intervals. This is not another spoke in the great wheel that is the future social profiling uber-database (pdf). Rather it is a useful tool which will allow us, as consumers, to log onto a handy website and see pretty graphs of our energy usage. We can then decide where we can reduce our bills by switching stuff off.

British Media: Bending The Truth?

One World Governance - Part 6
Remember this?
A tiny fraction of media coverage, mostly postings on online discussion boards, blogs and websites, is making highly offensive and untrue claims about Common Purpose.
- Sir David Bell, Director for People, Pearson plc and Chair of the Board of Trustees, Common Purpose International
In relation to the organisation, Common Purpose, one issue is becoming increasingly clear - The British Media generally neglects to inform the British public of its' activities and has also failed to educate its' readership in relation to the the United Nations Agenda 21 programme. The obvious consequence of this censoring of the truth in the Mainstream Media is that it resurfaces in another format; 'in blogs, on discusion boards and on websites'.
Readers are reminded that Common Purpose tells us itself that it employs the Chatham House rule meaning that 'participants are free to use the information received but that neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(Drunk, nor that of any other participant may be revealed'.
According to a Freedom of Information response the  BBC has spent a massive £158,100 on Common Purpose training. The BBC claimed that this was to 'assist senior editorial staff in building partnerships and developing knowledge, experience and contacts in their local area'. The following list provides a small sample of Common Purpose trained BBC personnel.
A host of BBC executives and star presenters admitted what critics have been telling them for years: the BBC is dominated by trendy, Left-leaning liberals who are biased against Christianity and in favour of multiculturalism....Political pundit Andrew Marr said: 'The BBC is not impartial or neutral. It's a publicly funded, urban organisation with an abnormally large number of young people, ethnic minorities and gay people.
The minutes of the British Printing Industries Federation AGM 2009 reveals that 'Mike Taylor introduced Rupert Middleton, Group Managing Director, Trinity Mirror PLC, as the next President of the BPIF'.
Isn't it is little strange how Middleton's connection with his wife's operation, Common Purpose, is conspicuously absent from the Mirror Group website.
Trinity Mirror Group has five National Newspapers and over 150 Regional Newspapers.
According to their web site The Media Standards Trust 'aims to find ways to foster the highest standards of excellence in news journalism on behalf of the public, and ensure public trust in news is nurtured……..We believe high standards of news and information are critical to the health of our democratic society'.
Whilst no one would deny the need for 'high standards of excellence in news journalism' just how independent is the Media Standards Trust?
One look at their Board should give a hint.

The Media Trust website tells its readers that they
work with media organisations and charities to enhance their communications and enable communities to find their voice and make it heard.
Media Trust Corporate Members include: The BBC, Channel 4, Daily Mail, Disney Channel UK, Guardian Media Group,  ITV PLC, MTV Networks, News International, Sky, Virgin Media TV & Warner Brothers.
We find the taxpayer indirectly funding their work with the Media Trust boasting the following project funders 2008/09 - The Arts Council for England & Wales, The Cabinet Office, The Department of Culture Media & Sport, The Department for Children Schools & families, The Equality & Human Rights Commission & The National Lottery amongst others.

Within the Media Trust March 2009 accounts filed with the Charity Commission it states
Media Trust established a subsidiary trading company, The Community Channel, on 22nd October 1998. The Chief Executive of the Media Trust is also a Director of the trading company.
Community channel is majority-funded by the Cabinet Office [and] receives free airtime from Sky, Virgin TV and Freeview.
The Community Channel also has an 8 page factsheet telling you more about organisations working towards the MDG's. Whilst the above organisations might talk publicly about democracy and democratic society I am suspicious that they are already operating within a swiftly developing Kleptocracy.
Instead of investigating and exposing the obvious conflicts of interests arising when a secret organisation's members network across our Government Institutions and media the BBC chooses to publish trivia such as the recent story that 'people could be given cash incentives to give up smoking or lose weight under proposals by the Health Watchdog for England and Wales'.
BBC Political presenter Andrew Marr criticised bloggers in this week's Telegraph whilst also admitting that 'it was a hard fact that the media would be employing fewer journalists as sales of hard copies declined'. Marr claimed that 'so-called citizen journalists will never offer a real replacement for newspapers and television news [as] most citizen journalism strikes me as nothing to do with journalism at all'.
Personally I wouldn't want to be associated with a left leaning jounalistic hack such as Marr Instead of providing readers with both critical analysis and commentary 21st century journalists hide the obvious behind a curtain of soundbites, sensationalism and propaganda.
Quotation from 70 years ago. The author was brother to Aldous Huxley, who most will remember as the author of Brave New World.
'There are thus two tasks for the mass media division of UNESCO, the one general the other special. The special one is to enlist the press and the radio and the cinema to the fullest extent in the service of formal and adult education, of science and learning,  of art and culture. The general one is to see that these agencies are used to contribute to mutual comprehension between different Nations and cultures, and also to promote the growth of a Common Outlook [my emphasis] shared by all Nations and Cultures.
The task is to help the emergence of a single world culture, with its' own philosophy and background of ideas, and it's own broad purpose'. - Julian Huxley - UNESCO: Its' Purpose and it's Philosophy.
It really is a Perception Alteration operation.
