Deadly attacks on Afghan minorities show the Taliban isn’t keeping its promises

Are You Prepared for Food Shortages? FBI Issues Warning
I have been warning the public for many years now about how fragile our food system is, where just a handful of companies control most of our nation's food, as well as most of the world's food. Last year I published an article that identified who these globalists are, written by Sam Parker of Behind the News Network, who wrote: “Genocide is an intent of this system, not a side-effect.” There are many indications that food shortages will soon start, from the war in Ukraine to the lockdowns in Shanghai and China, that are putting tremendous pressure on supply chains that will most c... read more

Biden met with Hunter’s business partners while he was VP
…Via the NY Post: Visitor logs from the White House of former President Barack Obama reviewed by The Post cast further doubt over Joe Biden’s claims that he knew nothing of his son’s dealings. Eric Schwerin met with Vice President Biden on November 17, 2010 in the West Wing, when he was the president of the since-dissolved investment fund Rosemont Seneca Partners. The logs also reveal that Schwerin met with various close aides of both Joe and Jill Biden at key moments in Hunter’s life when he was striking multi-million dollar deals in foreign countries, including China. #ANZAC: "year after year, the numbers grow fewer, who remember what it was we're not forgetting"
*'Sacrifice,' by sculptor Rayner Hoff, inside the Australian War Memorial in Sydney's Hyde Park* *"It's gratifying, in a way, that we start Anzac Day every year with a commemoration of a shambolic dawn landing that kicked off a pointless and wholly tragic military campaign that snuffed out some of the best young men of two young nations. It's not a victory march, but a sobering commemoration of the destruction of war. "This is healthy. This much is good. "'Lest we Forget!' we say" "It's said every year. And yet year after year, the numbers grow fewer who remem... read more
Masks are gone for now
The cruelty of our states and our federal government show us their totalitarian direction these last two years and how far the USA has fallen on the freedom scale. It's not progressive, or democratic, despite their attempt to change the language. The frenzy from the Left about Elon Musk's desire to make Twitter a free public space again is really alarming--not the freedom of speech but the Left's effort to stop it. The battle for the minds of young children is another arena where we see evil taking over. *Maoists in the Mist by Melissa Mackenzie* "Masks are gone, for now. Biden an... read more
The mask mandates--they didn't work
The graph tracks the results of a natural experiment that occurred nationwide during the pandemic. Eleven states never mandated masks, while the other 39 states enforced mandates. The mandates typically began early in the pandemic in 2020 and remained until at least the summer of 2021, with some extending into 2022. The black line on the graph shows the weekly rate of Covid cases in all the states with mask mandates that week, while the orange line shows the rate in all the states without mandates. As you can see from the lines’ similar trajectories, the mask mandates hardly control... read more

Special Prosecutor Filing Outlines Clearest, Most Detailed, Construct of Hillary Clinton Joint Venture Conspiracy to Fabricate Trump-Russia Narrative
In a very late-night filing by Special Counsel John Durham {pdf HERE}, in the case against former Clinton lawyer Michael Sussmann, the special counsel gives the most detailed construct of the “joint venture” between the Clinton team and allies to fabricate a Russian Collusion Conspiracy Theory against Donald Trump in 2016. GeoDestinies 2022
Walter Youngquist (1921-2018) was a petroleum geologist, a University of Oregon professor, and my friend. His life’s masterpiece is a 600 page book that’s now available to everyone as a free PDF download [HERE]. Geologists study Earth resources, many of which are being degraded and depleted — aquifers, topsoil, hydrocarbons, minerals, etc. These resources have limits. Every drinker learns that the glass starts full, ends empty, and the faster you drink it, the quicker it’s gone. Consumers pay little attention to resource limits, but they’re beginning to comprehend the im... read more

Should We Care What Kevin McCarthy Thinks?
Recent revelations, including that Kevin McCarthy toldhis party’s leadership that he was going to tell former President Trump to resign, have produced a public outpouring of (somewhat confused) commentary on the Center-Left and, no doubt, rather different forms of consternation in private within the establishment Right and the MAGA Right. This will no doubt feed the already active debate about whether, if Republicans retake the House in November, Rep. McCarthy will be the next speaker. That discussion, in turn, assumes that the private views of the House speaker are very i... read more

First really great day of the spring and it's 83!
We cleaned off the deck and washed the furniture and had our dinner outside--beef roast, potatoes, carrots and yellow peppers, fresh fruit and a giant cookie. What an amazing day. Our neighbor's dog, Kerry, stopped by to visit. She loves Bob. He takes her on walks and feeds her when her owners are gone. She didn't want to go home, but I think she could smell the beef roast! Later in the day I took a walk and enjoyed the flowering crab apple trees. I'm wearing my head phones in the photo while enjoying a podcast about Liturgy of the Hours. Un-Reconstruction
In a recent post, I explained that the holding of *In Re Griffin*, a leading case on Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment, cannot be properly understood without recognizing that Virginia was an unreconstructed state when the decision was made. A superior court in Arizona that dismissed a set of Section Three challenges yesterday relied, in part, on *Griffin* without mentioning or analyzing that point. It's easy to criticize that omission. But how many judges or lawyers know the basics of Reconstruction? The only time that history makes an appearance in a standard law school c... read more

Easter 1987 Gabriel dictation continued
The delicate rhythm of the divine Word is compromised in noises Some mistake the familiarity with our music, our name, our love-light and the color bands we serve with an internalization of the Word that in fact has not occurred. How will you know that your internalization of the Word is not sufficient unless you are confronted by challenges, only to discover you are not ready for these challenges? "Over the last thirty years, the United States has been taken over by an amoral financial oligarchy, and the American dream of opportunity, education, and upward mobility is now largely confined to the top few percent of the population. In Latin America, a series of electoral victories have allowed for the arrival of new governments of a popular, progressive nature or for at least a break with the neoliberal hegemony in those countries which we can say remained steeped in neoliberalism during the 1990s and the first decade of the 21st century. After corporate failed spectacularly in our first one, they decided to cancel the second, saying they had “no new information to share with us.” We haven’t had any since—even though many of us have requested another, as we have plenty of information to share with them. Instead, Starbucks corporate decided to skip to the next tactic in its playbo... read more
