Ukraine Is Still Losing So What Is Its Plan?
[image: undefined] Russian and Donbas forces have cleared the city of Mariupol except for the giant metallurgic complex of Azovstal which is held by some estimated 4,000 men, including many from the fascist Azov battalion. On Sunday Russia opened corridors across the front line and asked for those forces to surrender. However the Zelensky government ordered them to stay and to continue to bind Russian forces which otherwise could be used elsewhere: Russia had given the Ukrainian fighters in Mariupol until Sunday morning to lay down their weapons or be “eliminated.” On Sunday, the ... read more

Electric vehicles - a growing danger in confined urban transport?

Chilcot Inquiry Section 4.1 Iraq WMD Assessments, Pre-July 2002
Early British assessments of Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction were almost exactly the same as the Americans. In the 1990s to the early 2000s the U.K. assumed that Iraq still had its WMD and wanted to expand its programs. It also felt that Baghdad would always hide what it was doing. Just like the U.S. the threat assessments also gradually increased. At the start of the 2000s British intelligence was largely guessing about what Iraq was doing. Josh Blackman and Seth Barrett Tillman have an essay in T*he New York Times *today arguing that "only the federal government--not the states--can disqualify insurrectionists from the congressional ballot." The rising tides of the past before fossil fuels
Back in the 1060’s the geology class I was in at the University of Texas went out to examine sea fossils found in the limestone cliffs around Austin Texas. Obviously when that happened it was not because ancient Americans were burning fossil fuels. The earth appears to be constantly changing in response to its own cycles and not those of humans. The ancient cities found underneath ... read more
