Fetal Gore Impact Study FAIL
Back here I promised to have at the "study" commissioned by the Fetal Gore Gang that tries to deliver on its long-standing claims that shoving gory images in people's faces does anything but make them recoil and occasionally toss chocolate milk. Here is the announcement of the study's birth. The study titled A Statistical Analysis on the Effectiveness of Abortion Victim Photography in Pro-life Activism was commissioned by the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform (CCBR). The CCBR developed a survey — administered by the independent company Blue Direct — which targeted the popul... more »
Fake Clinics Use Federal Money to Fund Summer Jobs for Apprentice Liars
A few days ago, we reported on fake clinics, aka crisis pregnancy centres, getting government funding. We wondered what programs these lying liars could possibly qualify for. So we went looking. It's tremendously tedious but possible. One has to search by department or agency. We went to Service Canada looking for organizations that have received funding and found this or the downloadable/searchable PDF. Golly gee, in 2015 the Canada Summer Jobs program gave our money to four fake clinics in Alberta. • Calgary Pregnancy Care Centre: $12,782 (2 jobs) • Lethbridge Pregnancy Care ... more »
Party Unity Means Something Different In English Than It Does In Beltway-Speak
The DSCC website lists all the Democratic candidates running for Senate this cycle-- except one. And they're not just listing the big battle grounds like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Illinois, Arizona, Florida and New Hampshire. The DSCC includes races where no one thinks there's one chance in 100 for the Democratic candidate to win-- like in Idaho where some guy named Jerry Sturgill is taking on Mike Crapo and in South Carolina, where Pastor Thomas Dixon is challenging Tim Scott. The most recent poll in Idaho shows Sturgill with support from 20% of registered voters. The DSCC ... more »
The Poet: Rainer Maria Rilke, "Book of Hours II, 16"
*"Book of Hours II, 16"* "How surely gravity's law, strong as an ocean current, takes hold of even the strongest thing and pulls it toward the heart of the world. Each thing- each stone, blossom, child- is held in place. Only we, in our arrogance, push out beyond what we belong to for some empty freedom. If we surrendered to earth's intelligence we could rise up rooted, like trees. Instead we entangle ourselves in knots of our own making and struggle, lonely and confused. So, like children, we begin again to learn from the things, because they are in God's heart; they have never left h... more »
"The Wonder Of Life..."
"We live in radical times surrounded by tasks that seem impossible. It has become our collective fate to be alive in a time of great tragedies, to live in a period of overwhelming disasters and to stand at the edge of sweeping changes. The river of life is flooding before us, and a tide of poisons affect the air we breathe and the waters we drink and even tarnish the dreams of those who are young and as yet innocent. The snake-bitten condition has already spread throughout the collective body. However, it is in troubled times that it becomes most important to remember that the wond... more »
Seymour bags the National Socialists
National Party members and MPs used to be horrified when Libertarianz called them National Socialists. Now, they issue press releases *boasting* about their prowess at redistribution, prompting ACT’s David Seymour to state the obvious: *The ACT Leader has lambasted the Government over what he calls it's "socialist streak" - calling for tax relief for New Zealand's top earners. He said Government "boasting" about income redistribution took "campaigning from the right and governing from the left to a whole new level." Chelsea Clinton’s “Apartment” Is Secret Medical Facility For Hillary
Hillary Clinton’s unexpected visit to her daughter’s NYC apartment after collapsing from pneumonia this weekend was actually a secret visit to a discreet medical facility. The Democratic nominee detoured to daughter Chelsea Clinton’s alleged apartment after collapsing during the September 11 memorial service in New York on Sunday. However, the address she was filmed entering turns out to be a secret hospital that may have treated her for a more serious neurological problem. Pharmaceutical billionaire, Martin Shkreli, who lives nearby, was the first to point out that the address Hill... more »

Alternative Media Vindicated As Rumours About Hillary’s Health Confirmed
Sunday’s revelation that Hillary Clinton is seriously ill vindicates many alternative media outlets who have been saying for months that Hillary has sought to suppress just how gravely ill she really is. As mainstream news outlets now admit that Hillary may be lying about having pneumonia – and may instead have a more serious neurological problem – her own party are being forced to consider replacing her as their nominee. Theduran.com reports: In this sense, the developing news about the now official statements of Hillary Clinton’s ill heath are a vindication for both the writers a... more »
9/11 Journalist Arrested For Asking Questions About Building 7
A group of Florida police officers arrested a 9/11 journalist over the weekend after he conducted interviews asking members of the public how they think Building 7 collapsed. Bob Tuskin, co-founder of the Free Your Mind conference, interviewed passersby, asking them if they would like to watch a video of a building collapsing. Activistpost.com reports: Tuskin’s schtick was simple. He would show people a video of a building collapsing in six seconds and then ask them what that looked like to them. Everyone replies the same, saying it looks like controlled demolition. But when Tuskin... more »
Trump: Next Debate Should Be Held Without ‘Rigged’ Moderators
Donald Trump has called for the upcoming debate with Hillary Clinton to be conducted without a moderator present, claiming that moderators will be “rigged” in her favor. The Republican nominee said that a debate with a moderator would be both “unfair” and “rigged”. “I think maybe we should have no moderator. Let Hillary and I sit there and just debate, because I think the system is being rigged so it’s going to be a very unfair debate,” Trump told CNBC. No, this isn’t 1950s Alabama, but 2016 California, a bastion of “progressivism.” The university is justifying dormitory segregation on the basis of it being the best way to combat “microaggressions” and “racially insensitive remarks.” CSLA opted for this newly “inclusive” racially segregated housing at the request of the CSLA’s Black Student Union. You can also be sure that he will derail the lobbying machine and senate and congressional corruption. He is also sophisticated enough to understand the deals behind the scene literally as they walk in the door.. Do you wonder that the elites are seriously terrified? It would be like me been in position to charge all those folks who wreacked the AAA bond system with treason as i posted in 2008. The reality is that treason is now business as usual i... more »
If You're On the Fence About Your Vote, This Pastor Clarifies How the Very Future of America Is At Stake
This is an excellent overview of the two campaigns and worth reading. I have never seen so much bias and slander thrown about in an election. On the other hand i had never seen a man so examined as Obama in the past two elections. Trump has solved the press bias problem by the expedient of been hyper controversial and forcing them to attack him while ignoring his politically correct rivals who simply sank below the waves. Strategically he has hijacked the Republican Party which hardly matters and the republican vote which does matter while grabbing traditional Democrats ... more »
George Soros' Quiet overhaul of the U.S. Justice System
It has been pretty obvious for a long time that there is plenty wrong about the criminal justice system as constituted. Thus reform is no surprise at all. That it would be led by George Soros is what is unusual. This may actually trigger a flood of coin from both sides in order to do it properly if we are lucky. The hard question remains just whose interest will be protected. I would much rather see a legislative debate leading to an attempt to get a balanced solution. *George Soros' quiet overhaul of the U.S. justice system* *Progressives have zeroed in on e... more »

Also, too defensive:* Can you remember all the way back to the Commander-in-Chief forum? *Before* the basket of deplorables? *Before* pneumonia hit? We can almost remember that far. Today, we wanted to finish our critique of that unfortunate evening. In our view, it was pretty silly for Matt Lauer to burn all that time on the email matter. Photo: Air Force *National Defense*: *Intellectual Property Fights Par for the Course in F-35 Program* When the Pentagon embarked on the acquisition of the F-35 joint strike fighter in 2001, little thought was given to who legally owned the rights to the technical data and intellectual property associated with the aircraft. Fifteen years later, the lack of clear contractual language about ownership of technical data and software code has put the Pentagon in a bind and has limited the government’s options on h... more »
Hillary Clinton diagnosed with pneumonia per BBC News
Anyone who's read Breitbart and some other American political websites over the last month or so would have seen video of Hillary Clinton's coughing fits and weird ticks. The BBC have minimised coverage of these episodes as much as possible so the 9/11 memorial event must have come as a total surprise to the vast majority of the British public. The BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2016-37332106 glides over the top of the story, faithfully reporting the Hillary Clinton camp's line and reassuring everyone about their candidate's health whilst muddying the waters jus... more »

South Korea: 'North Korea Preparing Another Nuclear Test'
*BBC*: *N Korea ready for another nuclear test, says South* South Korean officials have said North Korea could be ready to conduct another nuclear test at any time. The North conducted its fifth underground nuclear test on Friday, thought to be its most powerful yet. A defence ministry spokesman said there was still an unused tunnel at the Punggye-ri test site which could be used for a sixth explosion at any time. Friday's widely condemned test has ratcheted up tension and led to fierce rhetoric from South Korea. *Read more *.... *More News On South Korean reports That North Korea ... more »
A Behind The Scenes Look At The U.S. - Russia Talks On Syria
The result of many long months and late-night talks *Barbara Plett Usher, BBC News*: *The war in Syria: Behind the scenes at the US-Russia talks in Geneva* *How do you cut a deal on military co-operation with a country you see as an existential threat?* That is how US generals characterise Russia: it is the starkest version of those "gaps of trust" President Barack Obama blamed for holding up a ceasefire deal on Syria. And that mistrust helps explain the puzzling, even bizarre twists and turns of the week that finally ended in an agreement between the rival powers. We now know, of... more »
Will The U.S. - Russia Deal Bring Syria Peace?
Reuters *Michael Weiss, Daily Beast*: *Will the U.S.-Russia Deal Bring Syria Peace? Don’t Hold Your Breath* There’s little trust among the diplomats in Geneva, in fact, and far, far less among the fighters on the ground. In the late summer of 2011, President Barack Obama declared the reign of Bashar al-Assad “illegitimate” and told him the time had come to “step aside.” In the early fall of 2015, U.S. officials laughingly dismissed Vladimir Putin’s unexpected direct military intervention into Syria as an accident waiting to happen at Russia’s expense. Today, Secretary of State Jo... more »

Hillary, pneumonia, and leftists' dishonesty and irresponsibility
Hillary fainted during an event commemorating the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 Muslim attacks on America (and my PhD defense). Soon afterwards, her doctor revealed that she was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday. It's my feeling that the doctor had been asked to remain silent and she did something that the Hillary campaign didn't want. For the first time, Hillary's health was acknowledged to be a serious issue. Her two-day trip to California was cancelled. And the leaders of the Democratic National Council have called for an emergency meeting that is already considering – right no... more »
The Case For Señor Trumpanzee Can Be Made To Sound Compelling-- But Only If Enough Lies Are Infused Into It
One of my neighbors sent along one of those right-wing chain e-mails we all get. It's been circulating since Jeb! was still the GOP frontrunner. There was a definition of Señor Trumpanzee and his success that caught my definition by defining him as "A giant middle finger from average Americans to the political and media establishment." Who *wouldn't* like that! It is funny, though, that a profoundly dishonest scam honest and manipulative billionaire would be perceived as the anti-Establishment candidate. He certainly couldn't have pulled that off if Bernie or (Elizabeth Warren) was... more »

The Economy: "The Impoverishment Of The Masses"
*"The Impoverishment Of The Masses"* by Alasdair Macleod "Feudal and mercantilist economic systems were characterized by the lower orders of ordinary people being enslaved by, or subjected to, the commands of an elite. Beyond basic subsistence, serfs and slaves were not enabled to consume other goods, nor were they given the means to do so. Communism was hawked as handing power to the serfs, or workers, united in and by the state. But again, it meant that workers remained serfs, employed and commanded by a state set up in their name. Freedom from the bourgeoisie became subjugation ... more »
Hillary would never lie about her medical condition?
As CBS writes, Hillary's campaign did not immediately explain why the Democratic nominee did not reveal the pneumonia diagnosis prior to the Sunday incident, raising questions of transparency. This is what her spox said earlier: “Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just an hour and thirty minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen. During the ceremony, she felt overheated so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment, and is feeling much better.” We read it twice: no mention of pneumonia. So when the ent... more »

Does America Need A More Authoritarian President?
Early yesterday-- just after midnight-- Señor Trumpanzee had one of his notorious Twitter freakouts, this one about Tony Schwartz, the guy who virtually *lived* with him "day and night for 18 months" and then wrote *Art of the Deal* and allowed El Trumpanzee to take co-author's credit despite the fact that he was the *subject* of the book, not the author of even one word of it. Trump's tantrum (below) was a reaction to Schwartz's appearance on Anderson Cooper's CNN show (above). Trump, it should be remembered, has been threatening to sue Schwartz. Schwartz responded to Cooper'... more »

*“The Wit and Wisdom of Will Rogers”* by Tom Purcell "Things are mighty heated these days. Tempers are flaring and minds are closed. Here’s the solution: the wit and wisdom of Will Rogers. “The short memory of voters is what keeps our politicians in office.” “We’ve got the best politicians that money can buy.” “A fool and his money are soon elected.” Rogers spoke these words during the Great Depression, but they’re just as true today. With 24-hour news channels, our memories are shorter than ever. And in the mass-media age, the politician who can afford the most airtime frequently... more »
