( I do wish somebody would make up their mind. I can't keep up with being portrayed as a GOP Tea Party brainwashed for finding I am 'left of centre'. Given that the centre in the U.S.A. is an illusion populated by conservatives that's no trick - even though I've been dumb enough to be a 'centrist' or abstainer for years.
Why ? You don't think being convinced of institutional corruption lasting centuries - at a minimum, eons being perfectly plausible and even recorded - leads to naive trust in the innate virtues of the 'system', do you ? )

Not attacking perversion of science and misreporting of stage-managed 'studies' purporting to 'prove' the unprovable : that a chaotic mess of peripheral influences - known and not,measured or not - upon a variety of reflective and semi-reflective surfaces and mists and oceans and ice of varying albedo and heat storage and conduction capacity - also including a vast mobile reservoir conveyor of global heat distribution - in an open system prone to cyclic variation in orbit around a Variable Star in a course through the galaxy has an understandable - and modelable - limit of complexity which can then be verified in a timeline of years as proving predictions made upon attaining such a model....suitably simplified by excluding uneccessary complexity of course. Madison Avenue has really overdone itself on this one. What happened to 'in science nothing is proven' ?
For that matter - what happened to the recorded variations in temperature in the deep past ? There's no law I'm aware of requiring data points used in averages conform to time limits of variation within a cycle as desired by the 'analyst' as being the actual point on the cycle. That's usually called 'cherry picking.'
It's a good thing I'm no scientist and can't get caught up in paid representations ! My skepticism of political manoeuvering isn't useful positioning for fakery. )

( Make that 'against reprehensible reframing of others' positions' and we might get close to rational discussion ; difficult when lies are the order of the day. It's interesting though : there is so much pushback against the 'frame' that rebuttal has been mechanized to propagandize via incessant repetition. 'Scientific consensus' anyone ? )
