When the people of the USA are incarcerated into prisons, the majority of them no harm to anyone but themselves, instead of being cared for, educated and helped toward being productive members of society...
When the people of the USA face constant attempts at censorship and have their media controlled by the few, and their consumption forced upon them by capitalists that have as sole motive profit and not the benefit of the consumers...
When the leadership of the USA who have been qualified as lawyers trample upon the very basics of legal practice world wide and yet do not have their legal qualifications nor licenses revoked, and are themselves held to be above the law and unaccountable...
Then these same, media, capitalists and their leadership do not have the moral right to talk about human rights, democracy and freedom.

In socio-economic matters, the idea of freedom tends to be shaped by classic economic liberalism: the belief that an invisible hand shapes favorable public outcomes, that individuals need robust protection from the government, that the state should refrain from interfering in commerce and trade. In the law enforcement and punishment context, by contrast, the dominant way of thinking about liberty gives far more ground to the government, to the police and to the state security apparatus.
America's Janus-faced liberalism has worsened and fueled the uniquely American paradox of laissez-faire and mass incarceration. In the country that has done the most to promote the idea of a hands-off government, our government runs, paradoxically, the single largest prison system in the whole world.

Internet Pornography-themed Web sites have long had a reputation as the "dark alleyways" of the Internet. In fact, porn sites ranked tenth in the list of the top ten categories of Web sites that are most infected, after automotive themed sites (ranked 8th) and health and medicine sites (ranked 9th). Top on that list: blogs and Web communications, including religious Web sites. That was followed by personally hosted sites, business sites, shopping and education.
FDA refuses to ban antibiotics in livestock, resorts to voluntary phase out that will be ignored by industry

The announcement comes just weeks after a federal judge took the FDA to task for its blatant disregard for public health, andorderedthe agency to begin withdrawing approval for the non-therapeutic use of certain antibiotics in animal feed (http://www.ucsusa.org). But instead of stepping up to the plate to fulfill these federally-mandated legal duties, the FDA has instead chosen to stage a meaningless publicity stunt that will do absolutely nothing to fix the problem.
( Can they be charged with Contempt of Court ? That might prove interesting. )

HAZARDOUS WASTEDRINKING WATER, RECLAIMED SEWAGE EFFLUENT WATER AND SLUDGE BIOSOLIDS USE
Government agencies claim there have been no documented public health damages from exposure to hazardous
waste, drinking water, pathogen contaminated sewage sludge (biosolids) and sewage effluent (reclaimed water)
used on food crops, parks, school grounds and lawns. However, in the last two decades the medical community
has documented the rise of pandemics across the U.S.
Due to funding restrictions, scientists have focused on personal choices and actions to explain the pandemics.
Now it is time to consider environmental factors effecting public health. You have to remember, if a scientist does
not understand the exposure potential, any study is the result of a simple guess based on ignorance..
Prenatal Exposure to Insecticide Chlorpyrifos Linked to Alterations in Brain Structure and Cognition
The new study is the first to use MRI to identify the structural evidence for these cognitive deficits in humans, confirming earlier findings in animals. Changes were visible across the surface of the brain, with abnormal enlargement of some areas and thinning in others. The disturbances in brain structure are consistent with the IQ deficits previously reported in the children with high exposure levels of chlorpyrifos, or CPF, suggesting a link between prenatal exposure to CPF and deficits in IQ and working memory at age 7.
The study also reports evidence that CPF may eliminate or reverse the male-female differences that are ordinarily present in the brain. Further study is needed to determine the consequences of these changes before and after puberty
In March 2012, Greenpeace randomly purchased several boxes of Lipton tea bags produced and sold in China at two Beijing stores. The samples, which included green tea, oolong tea, jasmine tea and black tea, were then sent to an independent third-party lab for pesticide residue testing.
The testing found that all four Lipton samples contained pesticides that exceeded the EU’s maximum levels of residue, while three samples contained pesticides unapproved by the EU, such as Bifenthrin, which scientists say could negatively affect male hormone production.
