Hatred, fear, lies...
I'm going to write a blog that I really don't want to write. It's about our news media and what digusting but deliberate lies they tell. I'm afraid it's also about us and our gullability. It's about our laziness and, frankly, our stupidity. This is certainly true of all Americans who are effectively destroying their own country. And it's true of all brainless Canadians who are Liberals or Conservatives. How's that for making enemies? But I'll start it with China. I recently read an American article on how evil the Chinese are. oh and how they are communists. As a matter of fact, the... read more

Dr. McCullough Bombshell: Covid Outpatient Treatments Being Suppressed!
In a recent interview with the Epoch Times, Dr. Peter McCullough claimed that the US government is actively working to suppress any investigation of outpatient Covid treatments. As the Omicron variant appears to be infecting the vaccinated as well as the unvaccinated, the question increasingly being asked is why after two years are there no treatments? Cancer Deaths Rose To 10 Million Worldwide But That Is Still Good News
Cancer deaths rose to 10 million globally in 2019, up from 2010 when total cancer deaths numbered 8.29 million worldwide - but the headline masks some important health progress. Cancer is not going up, despite claims by those who believe modern food, energy, and medicine are harming us. Diagnoses are going up, which means deaths are now more successfully categorized than in the past. And tracheal, bronchus, and lung cancer, the leading causes, will decline as the inroads America has made against smoking propagate throughout Europe and developing nations. read more read more

*Trevor Filseth* *Iran, * Iranian Prosecutor-General Mohammad Jafar Montazeri indicated during an appearance on Iran’s state-run television network that Iran had attempted to construct a legal case against the Trump administration for the killing. Former U.S. president Donald Trump should be “prosecuted and killed” for his role in the killing of Iranian general Qassem Soleimani’s assassination, Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi proclaimed in a speech on Monday. Don’t Let China Weaponize the 2022 Winter Olympics
*Zane Zovak* *China 2022 Olympics, Asia* While a full boycott would unfairly punish American athletes, there are other measures Washington should take. The Olympics are supposed to represent the very best of human achievement. But this year, they will also represent the very worst, as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) seeks to exploit the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing to whitewash its human rights abuses. Citing China’s state-directed genocide of Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang province, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada earlier last month announced they ... read more
Why U.S. Strategic Interests Do Not Include Ukraine
*Raymond F. Smith* *Ukraine, Europe* Guiding, and helping, Ukraine toward balancing its desire for closer ties with Europe and its need for acceptable ties with Russia serves the fundamental interests of both Ukraine and the United States. A successful foreign policy must flow from a framework that articulates a country’s fundamental strategic interests. That framework need not be complicated. During the period of Britain’s international preeminence, it had two tenets: maintain naval dominance and avoid the domination of continental Europe by a single power. 2021 Ends Quietly For The Islamic State
2021 ended quietly for the Islamic State. It was in its usual winter break while it was testing new areas of Iraq to operate in. At the same time, pro-Iran Hashd groups ramped up their operations against U.S. targets. There were a total of 78 security incidents recorded in Iraq in December. That was up from 67 in November. The increase was due to groups aligned with Tehran. Those left 56 dead and 67 wounded. 6 Hashd al-Shaabi, 14 Peshmerga, 15 civilians and 21 members of the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) were killed and 2 Peshmerga, 7 Hashd, 20 civilians and 38 ISF were inju... read more
January 6, 2021 compared to May 31, 2020
It's interesting to read the MSM accounts of Trump going to a protected area during the first outbreaks of riots after George Floyd's death in May 2020. They said he "fled," or "went into hiding." They mocked him. That's not how they treat January 6 and the hysteria of the Pelosi gang calling the rioters insurrectionists when the capitol guards actually let them in. After Floyd's death, rioters in many Democrat-controlled cities were breaking into federal buildings, burning down businesses, and the mayors were helping them. Yet we're supposed to believe the J6 crowd, which hasn't be... read more

Munching on crunchy carrots
I have a mouth full of fillings (I have all my permanent teeth). Many of them older than my dentist. But I love to munch on raw carrots. I don't want one of those "crunch" sounds to be a broken filling. So today I tried microwaving some carrot sticks about 10 seconds. Softens a little but leaves the crispness I like. Also, carrots are a nutritional powerhouse, and some studies show those properties are more available if cooked. Not sure 10 seconds is "cooking" but can't hurt. https://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/jf072304b? I don't like the flavor or texture of "baby carrots" which a... read more
