This is a great video on the making of biochar that works for the small operator. He walks you through it all. Here is what i will add. We now have plenty of wood chips to work with. in fact i do think that every farm needs a chipper in order to reduce wood waste in general as it allows it to be easily piled up and protected from the weather while it also dries out uniformally.
