With important results published in Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology, TrialSite points to a growing chasm out there provoked by the mainstream media’s fear-mongering about waning immunity, risk of variants, and as TrialSite shares later today, the called-out need for booster shots. A Second Korean War Would Be Incredibly Destructive
*Michael Peck* *North Korea, East Asia* A conflict in Korea today would be a fast-paced modern war against a adversary armed with nuclear and biochemical weapons. *Here's What You Need To Remember: *A second war would definitely not end like the first one. If a Second Korean War were to erupt tomorrow, there is one thing we can be sure of. It won’t be like the First Korean War of 1950-53. It's always reassuring—and usually fatal—to assume a conflict will be like its predecessor. France lost in 1940 because they assumed World War II would be fought in the trenches like World War... read more

Ace Combat: Can Russia Overcome NATO’s Stealth Fighters?
*Michael Peck* *Russia, Europe* Russia doesn't have the same budget as the United States, and that makes all the difference. *Here's What You Need To Remember: *Russian boasts that its Su-57 stealth fighter is better than the U.S. F-22 and F-35. To which writer Mikhail Bolshakov offered a practical rejoinder: America is flying hundreds of F-22s and F-35s, while Russia has canceled mass production of the Su-57. Russian airpower is inferior to U.S. airpower, according to one Russian news site. But is this genuine fear, or a marketing ploy to goad the Russian government into buyin... read more
Remember: America Lost to North Korea's Army during the First Korean War
*Michael Peck* *North Korea, East Asia* Here's how. *Here's What You Need to Remember: *If the only lessons of Task Force Smith was that inexperienced soldiers with poor training and equipment do poorly on the battlefield, or that a nation shouldn’t let its army lapse into decay, these would be mere clichés. The real lesson is what happens when the U.S. military commits to a conflict totally different from what it has prepared for. It is an issue still with us today. In July 1950, North Korea defeated the United States Army. This wasn’t supposed to happen. In the summer of 1950,... read more

Sales of Oreo Cookie’s Biggest Competitor Skyrocket as Company Officially Goes Non-GMO
The best-selling cookie in the United States is Oreo by a wide margin, racking up nearly $700 million in sales for Nabisco in 2017. But the cookie is far from healthy, as most consumers know, and the issue is made worse by the fact that it contains GMO ingredients and has even tested positive for concerning amounts of the controversial Monsanto chemical glyphosate. Now, however, Oreo’s biggest rival has officially gone non-GMO, and it could help lead to much-needed changes within the industry in due time. Why Did Donald Trump Take a Covid Route So Damaging to Trump?
[image: undefined] “Endemicity” is not a word that rolls off the vernacular tongue. Still, its new prominence in the halls of governments around the world is a huge ray of hope. It means that governments have at long last begun to regard the pathogen as potentially a manageable part of our world. The word endemic is a contrast to pandemic. A new virus of the sort we’ve been through moves from the pandemic stage to a manageable stage – and so it has been for all of history. And by manageable, epidemiologists do not mean: does not exist. It means it is dealt with through therapeutics... read more

The Danger that NATO Poses to Americans
[image: undefined] Imagine a massive nuclear exchange between the United States and China. That obviously would not be a pretty sight for the people of either nation. The road is only partially built and is now being called the “road to nowhere.” ... read more

DEMOCRATS SUCK AT ISSUE POLITICS AND ANGER POLITICS
After Democrats regained control of the White House and Congress, liberals started to feel hope ... but now the usual cycle is repeating. A pro-Biden super PAC has issued a dire warning to Democrats: Voters are largely clueless about the big policy measures they’ve passed and on which their 2022 electoral hopes rest. The message, delivered in a late June strategy memo by Unite the Country, advised Democrats that they could face midterm losses unless they took a more aggressive approach in touting the president’s $2 trillion Covid-relief bill and defining his infrastructure proposal... read more

Athenians at War: With Persia and Sparta
In 460 BC, Inaros II, a pharaoh from an ancient line of Egyptian rulers, rebelled against the Persian Empire, then the sovereign of Egypt. The Athenians decided to support the rebellion. Egypt was a prize worth fighting for because if the Egyptian rebellion succeeded, Athens would be assured of a regular supply of grains. In the same year, there was the outbreak of the First Peloponnesian War, in which the Athenian alliance was pitted against the Spartan alliance. The Athenian thinking at that time was that they possessed the military and economic resources to fight the Spartans and... read more
