20 September - Blogs I`m Following II

I`m taking flight to New Brunswick for a week. Remember Netvibes and Opera are live feeds set up for public use. I`ll take my laptop but have no idea about posting. Vacation is expensive and short. I`ll likely be taking a powder for the majority of the time.

Canada for president: Can the US learn from the north?

( We call our feckless leader `Mini-Me` or worse : a Bush clone who was coached by the Rove group of political dirty tricksters - robocalls leading voters astray for instance -  to get religious extremists and  general all around bigots in the party to STFU. Official Messaging and suppression of scientists` access to the press should be familiar. There is an anti-Harper website for the desperate to throw out the Con pretender. And you think the President is a dictator. Powers-wise he`s playing `catch up.`

Mind, our dyed-in-the-wool reactionary is playing in a field still so far removed from overt domestic tyranny as established south of the 49th he`s considered `liberal` by some in the US.  ROFLMAO  )

    The America of Arab Street

In Egypt, 75 percent of Muslims do not believe that Arabs carried out the 9/11 attacks, according to a 2011 Pew poll. Many believe that it was either Israel, the U.S. government, or both.

When I met Muhammad Mahdi Akef, the influential former leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, in April 2011, he insisted that Al Qaeda was a figment of the Western imagination. The idea that it doesn’t exist, that the United States attacked itself, is buttressed by preachers in mosques, on satellite television channels and in glossy Arabic books.
The United States and the West are widely seen as waging a war on Muslims. Al Qaeda ( Presumably a registered entity !  ) videos promote this vision as a continuation of the Crusades.

When I watch Al Jazeera Arabic I am stunned by unchallenged references in talk show interviews to the “American Zionist plan” or “the American enemy” or the “ally of the Zionist entity.”

Madison Ruppert, *Contributor* A family in Beach Park, Illinois underwent a strange series of events after a mysterious package, allegedly containing marijuana, was delivered to their home. A mere 10 minutes after the package was delivered, which was not actually addressed to anyone in the family, police broke down the front door and confronted the family with guns drawn. Unfortunately, police raiding the wrong home is far from rare, although I guess we can be grateful that no one was killed in the botched drug raid which actually never turned up anything illicit. 10 Quotes From Financial Experts About The Effect That QE3 Will Have On Gold And Silver

Michael Snyder, *Contributor* Do you want to know what QE3 is going to do to the price of gold and the price of silver? Well, you can read what the financial experts are saying below, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out what is likely to happen. During QE3, the Federal Reserve will be introducing 40 billion new dollars that have been created out of nothing into the financial system each month. So there will be more dollars chasing roughly the same number of goods and services, and that means that more inflation is on the way. In an inflationary environment, investors tend... more »

Facts are assumed true on pleadings sufficiency motions

*Schembri v. It may be that because there was such an abundance of evidence already developed in the record in this matter, the motion judge expected sworn or documentary evidence to support the proposed new pleadings.
