I received an email from a friend earlier today asking me my opinion on all of the flurry suddenly appearing all over the Jew spew media about a young Syrian boy that apparently was pulled out of the rubble in what the liars in the media is the "aftermath" of a Syrian government airstrike..... I began to look over the photos and the propaganda stories pushed out by the liars in the media and how they are now claiming that this was an "atrocity" committed by the Syrian government and that "something must be done" to "halt the carnage in Aleppo". 11 Natural Tricks for Insomnia

Today’s post is sponsored by Natrol, but my love for their melatonin is all my own! I am not a great sleeper. As a total night owl, sometimes I struggle to fall asleep until 3 or 4 in the morning every night, which ends up messing up the next day too. People are always suggesting sleeping pills to me, but I feel but better using natural ways to get to sleep. These are my favorite. *Meditation*- Meditation has been shown to improve sleep cycles when used right before bed. #RPGaDay Day 18: Best Innovation RPG Groups Could Benefit From

Daniel Stack at 19th Level - 1 hour ago
While there's a number of technical innovations possible, one innovation in the legal space I'd like to see is a revision of copyright law. Currently US copyright law appears to be based around the proposition that "Steamboat Willie" can never enter the public domain. Though it'll never happen, I'd love to see a major reduction in copyright law. Once upon a time the term of a copyright maxed out at 28 years. If that were the case today, any RPG written prior to 1988 would be in the public domain. This wouldn't stop Wizards of the Coast from having a copyright to new incarnations ... more »

Canadians Demand Action to Get the Gore Out of Our Faces

Abortion is a legal, common, safe -- and except in the tiny minds of a tiny minority -- ordinary medial procedure. For the tiny minds, however, it is "killing" and they want it stopped. To that end, some groups -- most notably the Fetal Gore Porn Gang, aka Canadian Centre for Bioethical Reform -- will go to any lengths, including endangering drivers, scaring children, and disgusting just about everyone with their antics. Some towns and cities have stood up to the gore-meisters. Others have caved, in fear of being taken to court over "free speech." Well, Canadians are sick of the g... more »

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/36690702 contains a sentence that means the opposite of what was intended: 'Asher-Smith ran from lane two in her first Olympic final - posting her fastest time of the year but 0.24secs under her personal best.' Under is precisely the wrong word. Behind would be OK.

Big Pharma Was Invented By The Rockefellers

Western medicine has some good points, and is great in an emergency, but it’s high time people realized that today’s mainstream medicine (western medicine or allopathy), with its focus on drugs, drugs, radiation, drugs, surgery, and more drugs, is at its foundation a money spinning Rockefeller creation. asheepnomore.net reports: The Rockefellers, of course, are one of the most rich and powerful families of the elite black nobility. Behind their spurious facade of philanthropy, they are power-hungry tyrants intent on owning the entire world, and depopulating it through eugenics-based ... more »

“While hunting for comets in the skies above 18th century France, astronomer Charles Messier diligently kept a list of the things he encountered that were definitely not comets. This is number 27 on his now famous not-a-comet list. In fact, 21st century astronomers would identify it as a planetary nebula, but it's not a planet either, even though it may appear round and planet-like in a small telescope. Messier 27 (M27) is an excellent example of a gaseous emission nebula created as a sun-like star runs out of nuclear fuel in its core. The nebula forms as the star's outer layers are... more »

*Mark Twain’s “Letters From the Earth”* by Wikipedia “Letters from the Earth” is one of Mark Twain’s posthumously published works. The essays were written during a difficult time in Twain’s life; he was deep in debt and had lost his wife and one of his daughters. Initially, his daughter, Clara Clemens, objected to its publication in March 1939, probably because of its controversial and iconoclastic views on religion, claiming it presented a “distorted” view of her father. Henry Nash Smith helped change her position in 1960. Clara explained her change of heart in 1962 saying that “M... more »

"Lessons" by Chet Raymo "There is a four-line poem by Yeats, called "Gratitude to the Unknown Instructors": "What they undertook to do They brought to pass; All things hang like a drop of dew Upon a blade of grass." Like so many of the short poems of Yeats, it is hard to know what the poet had in mind, who exactly were the unknown instructors, and if unknown how could they instruct. When did homes start becoming unaffordable?

When did homes start becoming unaffordable? Good question. From 1957 to the late-1980s the median New Zealand house price was between two-to-three times the median annual household income. Back then they were affordable.(A city’s housing affordability is generally defined as having the median house price less than or around three times the median income.) By the late 1990s, the average house price had already risen to four times the average household income, and houses began becoming inexorably unaffordable.
