Note: this is the first in a series that will examine the major role that leaders in the New Apostolic Reformation - whose American  apostles and prophets have been in the forefront of fighting LGBT rights in the United States - have played in the mounting antigay crusade in Uganda.

Black Politics Neutered by Corporate Democrats
The business-friendly African American politicians that came to prominence under President Clinton “prioritized electoral politics over mass movements and grassroots politics,” said Dr. Anthony Monteiro, professor of African American studies at Temple University, in Philadelphia. In more recent years, “a good part of the soft Black Left, the weak Black Left – they call themselves the ‘pragmatic’ Black Left – capitulated to the Obama movement,” allowing corporate politicians to achieve unchallenged leadership among Blacks.
Inventing Security Threats
In the wake of 9/11, we have made policing into a business,” said Black Agenda Report managing editor Bruce Dixon, speaking on Press TV. The Department of Homeland Security is mostly private contractors who are chiefly concerned with drumming up business. “It’s a growth industry,” said Dixon. “So, look out – you might be the next threat.” The U.S. government has been inventing threats to internal security “for at least 100 years,” said journalist Don DeBar, of CPRmetro.org.
Servants of Empire in “Human Rights” Garb
Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch are, essentially, weapons in the imperial arsenal,” said BAR executive editor Glen Ford. “Who better than self-styled human rights activists to justify ‘humanitarian’ war?”
Prof. Cornel West on Black Mass Incarceration
If our precious white brothers and sisters were going to jail at the intensity” that African Americans are incarcerated, “it would be a national emergency,” said Dr. Cornel West, speaking at a benefit for the Brecht Forum, at New York City’s Hunter College. “If Black middle class brothers and sisters were going to jail at the same level of intensity” as lower class Blacks, “we’d have a different kind of Black leadership.”
Liberal” Contradiction: Support for Charter Schools
Liberals” are seduced by “this virtuous narrative, that these ‘reforms’ are going to make things better for poor kids,” said journalist Liza Featherstone. She singled out Black New York State Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries, a “progressive” congressional candidate who is “at the forefront of efforts to open up the public school system to private interests” – a position that is “fundamentally at odds” with the progressive agenda. The fact that there’s lots of campaign money behind charter schools expansion “doesn’t hurt,” said Featherstone.
A “Human Rights” Approach to Public Education
The “business model” of education holds that “the student is a product, the teacher is a production line worker, and the parent is a consumer who has ‘choices,’” said Dr. Sam Anderson, of New York's Independent Commission on Public Education, ICOPE. The business model is an attempt by hedge funders and other business interests to “exploit the trillion dollar trough of public education.” ICOPE advocates a “human rights approach to education that “promotes the intellectual development of children to their maximum capability,” with “direct parental involvement in decision making at the public school level.”

The state's new voucher plan could eventually cut public education funding in half.

This voucher program steals tax dollars and gives them to private interests, with no guarantee of any return for the money.
We need to demand that public (tax payer owned) resources get that money, and that legislators stop stealing from us.
The voucher plan is another step towards making us all sharecroppers on land our taxes bought and paid for.

opit, Jack-of-all trades and master of none
I hear the same conversation over and over.
Quips about 'they are in it for the money' are quite correct. I wonder how that will work out compared to public money financing private prisons ....  same job !
No Child Left Behind and drilling for 'tests' is not mere idiocy. It guarantees children will not develop learning skills in school.  Teaching Word Recognition rather than sound techniques is one of the basics discarded in the race to promote indoctrination of failure. There is little difference in concept between forbidding teaching of slaves to read.  The GOP runs the Texas textbook program.
If you ever saw what TED promotes on YouTube and what is possible you would cry.
BTW  Being dismissive of Climate change hysteria is not denial of evolution. It is rather noting a situation where I send a physicist/science writer a link to a YouTube music video decrying 'Denial' of Anthropogenic Global Warming....and he shares it in ridicule ! *
Science is not a public opinion poll arguing over the politically correct scandal of disrespect of scientific method .... where contention is a norm of discussion.
Nor is the IPCC an impartial scientific organization. It is an agency of the UN which stands to receive trillions annually in taxes.

* Of the mischaracterization. Dr. John v. Kampen is well aware it's politically motivated brainwashing.
 "it's very funny!!"
Global Research (Centre for Research on Globalization)
"The growth process in middle income countries achieved so far as a concession related to shifting balance of forces with imperialism, will imply more dislocation wrought upon the poorer class countries. Many more countries are poised to undergo this metamorphosis to a state, which is the form of social organisation of militias plus American drones/military bases."
For the first time in history, ONE country rules our planet. Aided by all the former European colonizing countries, a colossal force wages continual war coercing impoverished territories into a single global pattern under total US oligarchical domination.
This is not fascism. It is far worse. Our language needs a new word to evoke its hegemonic power and real-time momentum.

Jugendamt

Human rights violations

In the Bamberg Declaration as delivered in 2007 the President of the INGO Conference of the Council of Europe, Annelise Oeschger finds that children and their parents are subject to United Nations, European Union and UNICEF human rights violations. Of particular concern is the German [and Austrian] agency, Jugendamt (German: Youth office) that often unfairly allows for unchecked government control of the parent-child relationship, thereby inflicting harm, pain, and sorrow including torture, degrading, cruel treatment upon parents and children. In Germany there are cases where such treatment has led to the death of children.[1][2]
Germany doesn't comply to the formal requirements to be a member of the European Union at all.

You can't have austerity and growth at the same time. You can't have a currency when you have no state.  ( The nationalist implications are chilling )
