Doug has linked fungi to a number of human disease, many of which are of unknown etiology, according to conventional health purveyors. These diseases include cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer's, and arthritis.
In response to this discovery, Kaufmann has devised and eating plan with two ends in mind: to starve fungi and limit human exposure to their toxins, known as mycotoxins.
lean, clean meats from the right sources are encouraged. These include grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured chicken and turkeys, wild caught ocean fish. Eggs, particularly organic from pastured chickens, are encouraged as well. Most vegetables are included. Fruits are limited to lemons, limes, avocados, grapefruit, berries and tomatoes
Nuts and seeds are also encouraged, as well. Water, herbal teas and fresh vegetable juices are the only beverages allowed. This is the initial phase of Doug's diet. Strictly prohibited under any and all circumstances are corn, wheat and grain, sugar, alcohol, antibiotics, and potatoes. Any sort of processed foods are discouraged, as well.
seed treatment for barley, wheat, and oats.use in orchards as a ground spray for bananas, cherries, peaches, and nectarines. The Department accepted for registration the new active ingredient, tebuconazole, on September 5, 1996.
The amounts of tebuconazole available to foraging wildlife are similar for both Elite and Raxil Thiram. BEP has never conducted a technical review of thiram. The limited amount of information submitted with the data package for Raxil-Thiram indicated that the use of thiram in a seed treatment will not adversely impact fish and wildlife. Other uses of thiram will need to be supported with a complete data package due to the increase in exposure to fish and wildlife.the formulated product can irritate the eyes and skin and is a sensitizer. Technical tebuconazole caused a variety of effects in laboratory animals in chronic studies at relatively low doses and also produced some developmental effects in rodents and rabbits.
Tebuconazole caused liver tumors in a chronic mouse study and is structurally similar to other triazole pesticides that also cause liver tumors. The USEPA's Carcinogenicity Peer Review Committee classified tebuconazole as a Group C (possible human) carcinogen. There are no chemical-specific federal or State drinking water/ groundwater standards for tebuconazole. aged leaching study indicated that tebuconazole is relatively immobile tebuconazole is a persistent compound with little degradation and low mobility in the vadose zone. For Howard soil with application to barren soil, essentially none of the compound leached to the water table. For Riverhead soil with application to barren soil, concentration peaks at less than 3 ppb at the end of a ten-year period.
Tebuconazole is immobile and persistent, and when used according to label directions on barley, wheat and oats is not expected to impact groundwater. Thiram (tetramethylthiuram disulfide) is a previously registered active ingredient for use as a seed treatment at 14.6% active ingredient by weight on soybeans. Raxil Thiram Flowable Fungicide is used for seed treatment at a 20% application rate (on a smaller seed thus more surface area). The TS&LS has no objection to registration for this use only.

causes of sinusitis
- The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases list asthma and allergies, as causes of frequent episodes of chronic sinusitis.
- Sinusitis is one of the leading chronic diseases in the United States.
- According to the National Academy on an Aging Society, it is the most common chronic condition among Americans.
- Damp weather and pollutants in the air can also affect chronic sinusitis sufferers.
- A Mayo Clinic study demonstrated that 93% of all chronic sinusitis was caused by mold.
- A large number of people with HIV or other immune deficiencies, asthma, allergies, or cystic fibrosis also suffer from sinusitis.
- The impact of sinusitis is immense. Yearly, Americans:
- lose more than 73 million days of work and school
- Spend more than $6 billion on sinus products
- Visit their physicians more than 13 millions times and receive over 13 million antibiotic prescriptions - due to sinusitis per year.
Nasal irrigation or nasal lavage or nose douche is the personal hygiene practice in which the nasal cavity is washed to flush out excess mucus and debris from the nose and sinuses. The practice is well-tolerated and beneficial with only minor side effects. Nasal irrigation in a wider sense can also refer to the use of saline nasal spray or nebulizers to moisten the mucus membranes. read more
Michael Smith posted on May 14, 2012 12:25It is no secret at this point that antibiotics probably cause as many problems as they purportedly solve. Antibiotics seem to be prescribed for almost everything; it is this wanton use of the drugs that has led to the rise in cases of Methicilin-resistant Staphylococcus auras, or MRSA, among other bugs that were once easily nuked by the antibiotic class of drugs. But antibiotics, in addition to aiding in the development of these "super-bugs", have now been implicated in so called "lifestyle disease", such as diabetes and heart problems.
Penicillin was by definition a mycotoxin – mycotoxins are poisonous byproducts of molds. Most antibiotics are mycotoxins. If you are a stranger to Know the Cause, Doug Kaufmann has compiled an astounding volume of material on the link between mycotoxins and ill health. These substances have been linked to all kinds of human illness .
Dr. Lynn Jennings talks quite a bit about gut dysbiosis in her newsletter articles. Mycotoxins, especially antibiotics, will destroy the internal flora in the intestinal tract. This leaves room for other more pathogenic microbes to colonize in the gut. For many people, this can be the way fungi gain a stronghold in your body. Once on board, fungi can cause you to crave carb-laden and sugary foods – both of which are complicit in gaining weight.
