I was amused to come across a photo essay about the Zundapp Janus, a German "bubble car" from the late 1950's. The Roman legendary god Janus, for whom it was named, had two faces, one looking ahead to the future, and one behind to the past. Understand something. It is that gold is not a terribly useful super money. This is nicely overcome by Bitcoin or its many similar alternatives. What has happened here is that Carney has called for a truly independent reserve currency. There is ample chatter out there that a major currency reset is in the cards and likely quite soon.
