I caught on to this story rather recently, although i had noticed the appearance of an actual goat meat cooler in my local supermarket. That always means organized supply somewhere. Turns out Ausytralia is in the middle of it. Turns out they had the same problem with goats as we have with our burdening deer populations. They started drives to gather them from the bush and then took then out to fatten them on superior wetter country.
