Yglesias' post concerns test scores from major urban school systems. We take it as proof of the following points: Yglesias is the slowest kid in the whole school system. Democratic Sit In, Day 2

jurassicpork at Welcome Back to Pottersville - 7 hours ago
Just before noontime yesterday, the Democratic Party did something extraordinary, something I've only seen activists do: They staged a sit in on the floor, specifically in the well, of the US House of Representatives. This was led by 15 term Congressman John Lewis, longtime civil rights activist who'd staged sit ins in the 60's, and Massachusetts Rep. Katherine Clark. It was about gun control legislation the GOP has been notoriously loath to pass since they're merely glorified temp workers of the NRA. It was intended to force a vote on background checks and all the facets of... more »

Jim DeFede continues the unmasking of phony little nonentity Patrick Murphy who has lied his way into power. Watch the devastating CBS report above. Wall Street, the DSCC and a powerful Saudi family are furiously pushing to get Murphy into the Senate and spending millions of dollars to do so. For Murphy, the newfound role as the Democrat’s most eligible candidate is extraordinary; and not just because he’s only been a Democrat since 2011. Murphy’s rise is extraordinary because of how little he seems to have accomplished to get here. Just six years ago, in the spring of 2010, Mur... more »
