All funds that are in excess of those currently needed will be placed into this entity for future use defending climate scientists. We believe that the existence of this fund will send a strong message that groups like ATI cannot bully scientists.

On Friday, a Virginia judge ruled to stay the current court order indefinitely, with a followup hearing to take place on Nov. 1st. Chris Horner and the fossil-fuel front group ATI cannot view the exempted personal emails from 39 climate scientists. This is definitely a victory, which wouldn’t have happened without the funding to intervene.

How do we know what caused climate to change – or even if anything did?
Climate attribution literally has to do with what causes something, or "to explain by indicating a cause". With regard to climate and weather it is important to understand the differences between what attribution can be assigned to climate and/or weather events at a given moment, or over a span of time. The longer the span of time, the more the attribution moves away from weather and towards climate, and vice versa.
( Clear as mud ; but a good job of 'distancing' from an obvious comparison. Short form : there are no valid short term projections. )

Ning Li is an American scientist best known for her controversial claims about anti-gravity devices. British Columbia’s carbon tax woos sceptics
It should be noted that the poll number is reflective of urban British Columbians. Once one gets outside of the latte sipping crowd in Vancouver the opinion changes radically. The Carbon Tax does nothing to benefit the environment as any funds generated go into general provincial coffers and not towards any environmental concerns beyond what is needed to secure votes in Vancouver. The tax was brought in without mandate nor consultation and although not the primary factor, it was no doubt a contributing factor to the Premier Campbell's resignation in disgrace as arguably the most hated politician in BC. The article sugar coats this represive tax when in fact it contributes greatly to proving the old joke, "What does BC stand for?", answer, "Bring Cash". If any other jurisdiction wants to see massive hikes in everything from fuel to carrots to socks without any change in the enviro(n)ment, then go for a carbon tax.
