A Smart-Power Approach For The Seas
The US needs to preserve its presence and influence wherever possible. This
suggests supplementing a certain formula: a large fleet, forward
deployment, and secure logistics with cooperation that is international,
inter-agency, and public-private in nature. This could create a
"smart-power approach for the seas".

For a nation with a storied history of public largess, the protracted

As a candidate, Donald J. Trump claimed that the United States government

been murdered. And for years, Mr. Trump pushed the notion that President
Barack Obama had been born in Kenya rather than Honolulu, making him
ineligible for the presidency.

Writing a military science fiction trilogy as a whole, publishing the books

work than I'd bargained for! Not only does one have to format and prepare

Several thinkers, notably James Howard Kunstler and, more recently John

"How Systems Collapse"
*"How Systems Collapse"*
by Charles Hugh Smith
"I often discuss systems and systemic collapse, and I've drawn up a little
diagram to illustrate a key dynamic in systemic collapse. The key concepts
here are stability and buffers. Though complex systems are never static,
but they can be stable: that is, they ebb and flow within relatively stable
boundaries supported by reserves, i.e. buffers.
In ecosystems, this ebb and flow is expressed in feedback loops between the
weather, environment and plant/animal species which inhabit the ecosystem.
