"A Look to the Heavens"
“How fast can a black hole spin? If any object made of regular matter spins too fast- it breaks apart. But a black hole might not be able to break apart- and its maximum spin rate is really unknown. Theorists usually model rapidly rotating black holes with the Kerr solution to Einstein's General Theory of Relativity, which predicts several amazing and unusual things. Perhaps its most easily testable prediction, though, is that matter entering a maximally rotating black hole should be last seen orbiting at near the speed of light, as seen from far away. *Click image for larger size.*... more »

Without solitude, no plant or animal can survive, no soil can remain productive for any length of time, no child can learn about life, no artist can create, no work can grow and be transformed. Obama Struck A Home Run With Iran Deal, But Ditching Kurdish Allies In The Middle of Anti-ISIS Fight Was The Wrong Play
Washington is a sad clown who is juggling too many balls. Somebody needs to cut the lights and tell this clown to leave the stage and go home. None of Washington's allies can or should trust it. Only blind fools put faith in American promises and deals. Although the P+1-Iran deal is good for the region and the world, it is not a sure thing because Washington is not a trustworthy actor. Russia has deployed its advanced S-400 missile defense system to the region of Kamchatka in the Far East of Russia, said Pacific Fleet spokesman Roman Martov to pro-Russian news agency Tass on Tuesday. Self Defence
The concept of self defence is instinctive; if someone attack a you it is only human to defend yourself. Similarly if someone attacks your child or parent or partner you are going to defend them - and rightly so - with force. But that concept does come with limits. You can respond if a classmate of your child throws a snowball at your child - but your response cannot be to take a baseball bat the the classmate. And self de... more »
