Guest Post - Why Electric Radiators Are Essential For Eco-Friendly Living
For years night storage heaters have been the most globally popular
technology for heating homes around the world. This has been largely due to
home and business owners taking advantage of the low running costs they
offer, even though there has always been a concern over the harmful carbon
release resulting from such usage.
[image: Why Electric Radiators Are Essential For Eco-Friendly Living]
But now thanks to 21st century technology, night storage heaters no longer
have any benefits that modern eco-friendly electric radiators don't. On the
contrary, there are many extra capabiliti... more »

Thoughts on the New Science Advisory Structure of the European Commission

No particle upon a quantum field means no information

Tennessee County Tries 1950s Strategy to Avoid Integration

A new twist to German arms for Israel
[image: Saar-V class FS]Israeli President Reuven Rivlin is in Germany on
the anniversary of German-Israeli relations. In the port of Kiel, four
warships will soon be built for Israel - and an Arab company will make
money on the deal.
The official program for the third day of Israeli President Reuven Rivlin's
visit to Germany was fairly straightforward. At 9:50 a.m. he met with the
premier of Schleswig-Holstein state, Thorsten Albig, and held discussions
with students. At 11:50 Rivlin's official visit to Kiel was over.

Prelude to a Japanese Revival
What needs to be understood is that the developed world has been forced to

painful as it might have been nor so painless as it could have been.. In
fact the private sector has taken full advantage of this unique transition

China now must accept adjustments upward in wages and social costs all of

Did Atlantis really exist on the Moroccan coast?
What has not been understood is that Atlantean world was a Global culture
and civilization without a centralizing political structure. Thus cities
are all important, yet not often huge either. At the same time we have an
excellent conforming site on the coast south of Seville.
I also expect to see centers along the Atlantic coast or at least stations
even perhaps as robust as Mycenae. Thus this site is well located and it
certainly shows the right type of surrounds as per tradition. It also
would have been vulnerable to the 1159 BC tsunami that ended the European
Bronze Age.

North Korea Didn’t Launch Submarine Missile, U.S. Officials Say
[image: Greg Thielmann]North Korea didn’t launch a ballistic missile from a
submarine, contrary to its government proclamations and news reports,
according to two U.S. officials.
Instead, the U.S. intelligence assessment is that the secretive communist
country may have tested the compressed-gas ejection system that’s needed to
begin launching a missile from a submerged vessel, according to the
officials, who asked not to be identified discussing the internal appraisal.

Papal encyclical: will AGW, Catholic churches merge?
Environmentalism used to be one of the small building blocks of the
nationalist socialist ideology in Germany but it kept on growing and was
adopted mainly by the far left-wing, atheist youth.
However, in recent decades, another perspective on environmentalism – and
especially its most radical incarnation, the global warming alarmism – was
becoming increasingly self-evident. Global warming alarmism is a religion.
This point was described in many TRF blog posts a decade ago, too.
Many people have made the point before 2000 but one of the first articulate

Social Security-- Still A Target For Conservative Predators
Conservatives have never been boosters of Social Security. Republicans and
right-wing Democrats decried it as socialism back in the 1930s.
Disgracefully, Southern "Democrats" only agreed to support it at all when
they were able to exclude most African-Americans. The legislation was
immensely popular among the voting public and after delaying it and
watering it down as best they could, dozens of Republicans in fear of the
electorate went along and voted for it in the end. The Social Security Act

*"By liberty I mean the assurance that every man shall be protected in
doing what he believes his duty against the influence of authority and
majorities, custom and opinion. Liberty and good government do not exclude

Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest
political end. It is not for the sake of a good public administration that
it is required, but for security in the pursuit of the highest objects of
civil society, and of private life." *-- Lord Acton in his "The Hist... more »

The Germans thus looked upon Slavs as people not fit to be educated, not

Hitler's racial policy with regard to the Slavs, to the extent that it was
