A Look At The Arsenal That Iran Can Deploy In the Event Of War Against The U.S.
A Ghader missile is launched from the area near the Iranian port of Jask port on the shore of the Gulf of Oman during an Iranian navy drill, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. Iran says it has tested advanced anti-ship missiles in the final day of a naval drill near the strategic Strait of Hormuz, the passageway for one-fifth of the world's oil supply. State TV says "Ghader", or "Capable", a missile with a range of 200 kilometers (120 miles), was among the weapons used Tuesday. It says the weapon can destroy warships. Trump and Iran: Damned if you do, damned if you don't...
*reaction of the commie libtards is actually amusing and highly predictable.* They have proven once again that their hatred of Trump is so irrational that they would rather see Trump kill 150 plus or minus peeps over an unmanned drone. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they fashion themselves as compassionate, loving, and protectors of the weak and disenfranchised? Of course that compassion does not apply to babies in the womb, but that's another story. One thing that stands out for me about this whole silly "should he or shouldn't he" is the way he talked to just about everyone... more »
Donald Trump's Foreign Policy...Until He Was Elected
In what seems like another lifetime, on April 27, 2016, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump gave a speech to a friendly audience at the Center for the National Interest, outlining his foreign policy and how he would steer the United States through what was becoming an increasingly complex geopolitical reality. Here are some key excerpts that are particularly interesting given the current situation with Iran: "*Unfortunately, after the Cold War, our foreign policy veered badly off course. We failed to develop a new vision for a new time. In fact, as time went on, our fore... more »

US Credibility Dented In Iran Standoff
The US started the spiral of tensions with the decision last May to leave the Iran nuclear deal and it is the responsibility of the Trump administration to make a gesture. How Trump can manage to do it is the big question. The Trump administration’s aggressive and confused policy towards Iran has dented the US credibility.
The Forgotten Refugees
I’ve avoided bombarding this site with too much material about parliamentary debates, but since Harry’s Place has flagged it up, I will do my worst. This is about a very, very, very belated debate about Jewish refugees. “the forgotten refugees” If this story were as well known as the plight of the world’s favourite refugees, it might give all those staunch anti-Zionists a little pause for thought. Hansard transcription is here. Theresa Villiers gave a particularly brilliant speech. So did Ivan Lewis, and Jim Shannon (DUP) whose reference to the BBC was particularly apposite. “Firs... more »
