[image: undefined] The realized truth of modern history is crystal clear. Washington had no business intervening in a quarrel between two no-count wanna be dictators (Syngman Rhee and Kim il Sung) on the Korean peninsula in June 1950, and surely has no business still stationing 29,000 American soldiers there 67 years latter. Yet owing to the institutionalized albatross of that mis-vectored history, the world is now much closer to the brink of nuclear war than at any time since the dark days of the early cold war. And the Donald has become just the latest political tourist in the Ov...more »
Have you heard of “Godwin’s Law?” It asserts that: *“I**f an online discussion (regardless of topic) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will invoke Hitler.”* In practice, it is used to shame or chastise those who make any sort of comparison to the fascist hellscape of the mid-20 th Century.* To be sure, an overused, hyperbolic cliché can be tiresome.** Mike Godwin must be going crazy, right now, amid the tsunami of post-election comparisons. It was almost magical watching Chris Hayes interrogate Carter Page on his show a few weeks ago. I kept thinking Page must have a death wish. You can watch a little of it n the clip above. I'm catching up with some old articles that I have neglected to post. Here's one based upon https://antisemitism.uk/labour-party-members-and-their-nazi-beliefs/ 'The antisemitism of the far-left often appears to be a distinct phenomenon — starting with the antisemitism of early Marxists, it later absorbed the antisemitism of Stalin's Russia. From the 1980s onward, far-left antisemitism has been established as part of a supposedly anti-imperialist position. Elements of the far-left have embraced genocidally antisemitic Islamist movements, and under the cover of so-called identity p...more »
A paperby Swati Dhingra, Gianmarco Ottaviano, Thomas Sampson and John Van Reenen at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics and Political Science examines the economic consequences of the United Kingdom's exit from the European Union on both the U.K. and the European Union as a whole. With the European Union being the U.K.'s largest trading partner, Brexit will obviously have a significant impact on both economies since tariff and non-tariff barriers to trade would change. For the purposes of this study, the authors looked at two scenarios: 1.) *an opt...more »
*April 18, 2017 *(Tony Cartalucci - NEO) - The United States - according to Western media sources - has shifted priorities in Syria, no longer focusing on regime change aimed at Damascus. However, in reality, it is not a shift in priorities, it is recognition that US ambitions in the Middle East have been thoroughly disrupted by Syrian, Russian, and Iranian resolve. The US must now resort to pursuing secondary courses of action - no less malicious in intent or ultimate outcome than its original plan which has left a region at war since 2011, killed tens of thousands, and displace ...more »
Call me an old conspiracy theory nut but this decision by Prime Minister Theresa May to hold a snap general election reeks of deep state manoeuvring. The establishment don't want Brexit to happen and if the result of the general election is a Labour government or a coalition of Labour or Conservatives with the EU fanatics of the Liberal Democrats then Brexit will be off. In the words of John Lydon "do you ever get the feeling you've been had?" More excitement from remaniacs here on the institutionally pro EU BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-39628713

Their hold on those 14 districts is weak-- and that in not a single one do they hold a majority of voters.
