* "Weekly News Wrap-Up 2/24/2017"* By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com "The mainstream media (MSM) is being exposed for the propaganda press it is. Trump has new guidelines to enforce immigration laws and deport people who are illegally here, and yet the MSM calls them “undocumented” or simply “immigrants.” The MSM will not use the term “illegal immigrant” or “illegal alien” because it destroys the false narrative and would reinforce the idea that people break the law to come to America. Democrats and their lap dog propaganda press want illegals from foreign countries to undermine the ... more »

*[image: Meadb's cairn at the summit of Knocknarea]* The reality of Queen Maeve would today be impossible to reconstruct unless a completely new reference source popped up. She was a source of ancient legend and then on top of that she was obviously appropriated when the surge of creative literary interest about the fairy realm arose in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and has not really died down. All that legend making surely attached itself to this obvious burial mound in Ireland. Makes a great story at least to sell tickets and yet another source of legend making.... more »
[image: Is the Left Playing with Fire Again?] Likely yes. The use of clearly paid for rioters is one certain proof of this. It is difficult to put up while the media is actually drumming it all along as well. Recall that there has never been a legitimate reason this season to hit the bricks. In 1968, a draft notice was excellent cause. Not liking a political outcome is never cause except to agitators trying to overturn the government. This item reminds us of how that all worked out in the past. More troubling is that the mainstream media has become utterly irresponsible and... more »
The farm workers have always needed a special dispensation to protect their interests and that should include a special guest workers arrangement. I know we have done something like that in Canada and it also included proper implementation of minimum wages. That saw some prices rise but then so what!. the consumer can live with that. In fact better prices would bring out local labor as well. Labor prices and food prices are long overdue to be rationalized and faux consumer arguments need to be jettisoned. In the meantime this will shake it up one more time. * In Califo... more »

The BBC's pro-immigration Home Affairs Editor Mark Easton was in typical form on last night's BBC One *News at Six* and *News at Ten* - the following report appearing on both bulletins. *February 24, 2017* (Ulson Gunnar - NEO) - Any US general providing candid views on fighting and winning a war admit the impossibility of victory as long as the source of an enemy's fighting capacity remains intact. In fact, as an excuse for why the US is still struggling in Afghanistan over a decade and a half after initially invading the Central Asian state in 2001, US General John Nicholson blamed outsiders including Pakistan, Iran and Russia for aiding, abetting and harboring anti-US forces. Part of what I do as an archaeologist is judge between competing claims to truth. Indeed, you could say this is the entire purpose of science. Before we make a judgment about what is true, there are facts that have to be examined and weighed against one another. When Trump’s senior advisor Kellyanne Conway made her now infamous reference to “alternative facts,” many viewers were stunned. But I am a scientist. I spend my days trying to pull “facts” out of the remains of the past. After thinking about what Conway said, I realized that it was not ridiculous at all. There are always ... more »

This web of generators, substations and power lines is organized into three major interconnections, operated by 66 balancing authorities and 3,000 different utilities. Image by Todd McLellan.Philip Rucker's Bannon interview, in the Washington Post: Atop Trump’s agenda, Bannon said, was the “deconstruction of the administrative state” — meaning a system of taxes, regulations and trade pacts that the president and his advisers believe stymie economic growth and infringe upon one’s sovereignty. “If you look at these Cabinet nominees, they were selected for a reason, and that is deconstruction,” Bannon said.
