Paul Ryan Admits He Wants To Be Speaker
Finally,

offered the extremists in the so-called Freedom Caucus a bone, a delay

interesting to see how many of the mental midgets fall for it. Ryan even
said he was "ready and eager" and that the House Republicans are "ready

Supplemental: Do we the liberals know how to resist?
*FRIDAY,
OCTOBER 23, 2015 The return of Benghazi parsing:* We liberals went to
bed last night hearing that nothing had happened. We had been
misinformed. A couple of Secretary Clinton’s emails have produced the
return of Benghazi parsing. This will revive an earlier question: Do we
the people know how to read? Do we know how to reason *at all?* If you
want to parse Benghazi, you have to keep a few basic points in mind.
These three are quite basic: *Don’t buy that false contradiction:* Let’s
state a fairly obvious fact. There’s no reason why a “terrorist group”

Stocks are on the rise
In
a column I wrote for The Davis Enterprise, published Nov. 26, 2014, I
noted this: "On Friday, the S&P 500 index closed at
2,063.5, an all-time high." From that date until Aug. 17 of
this year, that large stocks' index stayed in a relatively
narrow, 155.5 point trading range: from a low of 1,972.74 on Dec. 16,
2014 to a high of 2,128.28 on July 20, 2015. And then the bottom seemed
to fall out of the S&P. In one week in August, the index lost
229.3 points. On Aug. 18 it sold for 2,096.92; on Aug. 25 it was down to
1,867.61. All of the year's gains had been wiped out, and it

yrs governed for only for 1/3rd of Canadians. They've governed only for
their base. Much of the policies created by Harper not only appeased
his base, but also satisfied his neoliberal agenda. Harpers continued
exclusion of the Canadian majority throughout the last 4 yrs, was

planners had expected that "the bomber would always get through" and

1941 which killed "only" about 40,000 people. It's never mentioned in
the parts of the English historiography about how "the allies" (re:
France) "betrayed" Poland when they did nothing but invade Germany only 5
miles before retreating agai... more »
