( As a boy raised in the Canadian branch of the Church of England { in the U.S. - Episcopalian} and a Preacher's Kid { which personally occasioned some mirth at those who turned out to be pirates } mother was at pains that I should follow Biblical 'dress code' in church ; which runs in the vein 'women shall cover their adornment' { hair } and men shall appear bare headed before their Lord { no marks of Rank }. So the following is a special WTF ? moment at the harassment of those who honour Jesus as a Prophet/Teacher of the One God rather than as God Incarnate - a strange proposition for one who purportedly said 'My kingdom is not of this world' and denied Divinity as a formal requirement of his own native Religious Theocracy of Judea ; where his rabbanical instruction was construed as menacing formal state tyranny by his espousal of "Ruth'' and religious tolerance. The actuality of his life and times is that it becomes an avatar of the people as the instruction of the state shouts the warning of Roman legalese - new or old - torture and death to freedom of thought. )
