The World Doesn't Revolve Around Trumpanzee But..."It Was As I A Chill Had Descended On That Front Row" When He Showed Up

DownWithTyranny at DownWithTyranny! - 1 minute ago
*The Sound of Music by Nancy Ohanian* Fox News' Chris Wallace came up with the "a hill had descended" line in the station's coverage of George H.W. Bush’s funeral on Wednesday when Trump awkwardly joined the legitimately elected presidents in the front row. He didn't belong-- and it was obvious, even at Fox. "You had seen a lot of chatty talk between the Clintons and the Obamas, the Carters," said Wallace. "But when Donald Trump sat down, the greeting that he was given by Barack Obama and Michelle Obama was about as cold, about as cool as it could have been." Then the previously cha... more »

He Made America Great Again

Teodrose Fikre at The Ghion Journal - 13 minutes ago
Dateline: Mar-a-Lago, Florida, December 6th, 2036 Donald Trump will forever be remembered a president who gave America hope again. With his charm and cheerful demeanor, he was a man who stepped into a void and lifted our collective spirits. In an age where venom and vitriol have become par for the course, his voice of reason will be sorely missed. He was known by his closest friends and confidants as a kind and humble gentleman,… The post He Made America Great Again appeared first on The Ghion Journal.

Over 90% of Mexican Tortillas Found to Be Contaminated with GMOs

As far as corn goes, there are few countries that take more pride in their production of this “sacred” crop than Mexico, where corn exports were expected to top over 1.5 million metric tons in 2018, up over 15% from the previous year. But this growing “arms race” in the corn industry has come with a serious downside: the rise of the genetically engineered corn industry in the country, where indigenous varieties are being cross-contaminated by Monsanto’s patent GMO varieties and seed saving and heirloom corn varieties are increasingly being forgotten. The mainstream media’s recent smear campaign against Julian Assange is an attempt to make people comfortable with the breakdown of democracy and the free press.
