The inside story behind Washington's war on Russia

Bruce K. Gagnon at Organizing Notes - 14 hours ago
As I've often written the US goal is to break Russia into smaller countries giving the western corporate oligarchies better access and control of their vast resource base. This fascinating documentary gives both historical perspective on this process as well as updates us on the current realities of this regime change plan for Russia. The American media daily talks about alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election but this film *absolutely shows* how the US (thru an alphabet soup of US funded agencies like the CIA, National Endowment for Democracy, Freedom House, US Agency ... more »

How Russia Wants to Track (And Kill) Navy Submarines

Michael Peck at Test Feed Using Fields - 14 hours ago
*Michael Peck* *Security, * Moscow is working on a new trick to track American submarines: sonar-equipped robots. *For now, submarines are the most stealthy of military craft, lurking deep and silent in the vast depths of the ocean. Introducing the 5 Worst Handguns Ever

Despite their long history, there have been relatively few real, genuine clunkers in the world of handguns. *TUESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2018The ancient Cretan's tale:* According to Rebecca Goldstein, Kurt Godel—he of Godel's astonishing incompleteness theorems—was "the greatest logician since Aristotle." Sadly GM is downsizing. It is more than anything an indictment of financial engineering that uses continuous expansion to hide aging assets. GM acquired competitors and assets over a century while acquiring a whole world of social contracts as well that postponed real costs. In too big to fail entities, these costs accumulate and are not expunged through failure. I personally think we need a size restriction on all corporate entities that holds them to a maximum ceiling low enough to prevent the too big to fail concept. It always must end this way. Right now the company is s... more »

Is there a Space War?

arclein at Terra Forming Terra - 20 hours ago
There have been such reports. However, their very nature makes them subject to the expectation and risk of a self serving bias. They all must be second and third hand at the least.. Inasmuch as they fail to impact our own reality at all, the war simply fails to exist. Certainly we have evidence that our own near earth space fleet actually exists. Again it is kept secret and we know nothing we can verify. Are we actually part of any such conflict? What bothers me is that humanity threatened is soon humanity united. This is an asset. Why are we not exploiting it. *Is ther... more »

I suspect he camped in the home range of a Giant Sloth.. It was not traveling fast and there were a lot of bones lying about which is unusual, but does conform to a giant Sloth who leaves meat out to become a maggot farm. He also woke up strongly suggesting he sensed a predator close by. This is common in lion country. The slowness was also a stalking motion. This is not Sasquatch behavior as well. They tend to move briskly to fast. On the other hand, i have come to realize that the Giant Sloth is not an effective runner and clearly spares itself. At least twice it confr... more »

The outlandish “Russian interference” narrative just took a turn from the banal to blatantly disrespectful. Which Trump Ally Is More Dangerous To America-- Vladimir Putin or Matt Bevin?
