10:26pm MDSTUnearthly Adventure Comics #253: The RetConQuest Part 2
With a cover-date of April 1958 and on newsstands in February of 1958, Unearthly Adventure Comics #253 concluded the tale of the Unwanted's first battle against the evil Tempus Khan. With some hand waving, the Cardiff Giant and Atomizer were not present in this issue. Yuyu, an ancient Egyptian priest of Osiris was and was "retconned" to have always been part of the team, supposedly due to the acts of the heroes in the previous issue. With his addition, the first lineup of the Unwanted was established, though not all of them were featured in every issue. Though the comic had intended... more »

Los Angeles Primary Voters Need To Beware Of Imposters Laura Friedman, Elan Carr And Steve Napolitano
*An actual endorsement* *Fake endorsement by L.A.'s most dishonest politician*The other day I got a piece of mail disguised as a Democratic Party slate card with prominent pictures of President Obama, who isn't running for anything and Kamala Harris who is running for U.S. Senate. The "Democratic Voter Guide" is not put out by the Democratic Party at all and there's no indication of who paid for the mailing, which tries to imply that dishonest conservative candidates like Republicans Elan Carr and Steve Napolitano and the Walmart anti-public school candidate Laura Friedman are runni... more »
CDC Forced To Admit They Hid Data Linking Vaccines To Autism
A PhD scientist has forced the CDC to admit that they knew a key ingredient found in most vaccines significantly increased the risk of autism in those who took it. Information obtained by a Freedom of Information Act request filed by a PhD scientist working with two members of Congress has forced the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to release documents that show statistically significant risks of autism associated with thimerosal, a common preservative used in vaccines. The CDC has been denying knowledge of the link between thimerosal and autism since the late 90s. ...more »
Member Of Congress: Manipulating ‘Naive, Self-Absorbed Sheep’ Is Easy
An anonymous member of Congress has published a tell-all book that lifts the lid on corruption in the political system, the arrogance of the elite, and the gullibility of the American public. The book is called The Confessions of Congressman X and it has rocked the corridors of power in Washington D.C. with insiders arguing about who the author is, and bets being placed over which side of the political divide the member of Congress belongs to. With public trust in the institutions that govern us hitting an all time low according to recent polls, it is no surprise quotations such as ... more »

Gitmo Judge Allowed Destruction Of Vital 9/11 Evidence
A U.S. judge ordered the destruction of vital 9/11 evidence during a trial held at a military tribunal at Guantanamo Bay, according to leaked documents. A top university professor claims that Facebook are listening in on people’s private conversations all the time. Professor Kelli Burns from the University of South Florida has drawn attention to a feature that Facebook say has been around for a couple of years. US Court Rules Against Privacy, No Warrant Needed For Data
A U.S. appeals court has ruled against privacy, in a landmark case that will allow authorities to obtain a person’s cellphone location without a warrant. The ruling marks a major setback for privacy advocates who claim that the U.S. government can now effectively track any citizen without their knowledge or permission. The full 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia, voted 12-3 that the federal government can access the user data due to the fact that it had already been disclosed to a third party. What Would Ludwig von Mises Do in Venezuela?
*Guest post by Tho Bishop* [image: Mises Venezuela2]The crisis in Venezuela is the most modern illustration of the horrific consequences of socialism and the devastating reality of hyperinflation. What makes this disaster all the more infuriating is that it could have been avoided with a basic understanding of history. We’ve seen the disaster of socialism and interventionism in various forms play out across the world time and time again with similar results, and yet new generations of central planners — backed by ideologically-aligned intellectuals — are consistently able to fo... more »

I have known for well over 3 decades now that the world is not as it seems..... I have learned over the last 4 decades of being a realist and a critical thinker, that we are all living a massive illusion where we are absolutely NOT free, but are indeed enslaved to a group that seeks domination over the entire planet... In my day to day travels, I am still so surprised that there are people out there that are absolutely clueless about our world... It does appear that the "Matrix" has indeed a hold over much of humanity, and many still have not taken the "red pill" to wake up and see ... more »

He kind of reminded me of New Hampshire progressive activist Carol Shea-Porter, circa 2006-- a full decade ago. Carol had an impossible dream. She wanted to defeat a powerful entrenched incumbent, Jeb Bradley, who had a load of money-- and Carol had none. Worse, yet, the head of the DCCC, Rahm Emanuel, decided Carol was "too progressive" and "too anti-war" for New Hampshire and he was backing House Majo... more »

Years from now, when I recount the adventures of the past several weeks to my son, grandchildren and anyone else who will listen, about how I became caught up in one of the biggest natural disasters in Canadian history, I know I will look back and see how I was prepared. I will also see the way in which I was successfully prepared and, since I see myself as a pretty honest guy, see a few things I wish I had done differently in order to prepare. Shortly after the evacuation, someone asked me on social media if I thought that my northern experience had prepared me for events. I a... more »

NATO To Increase Military Presence On Russia’s Border
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg announced an upcoming “landmark summit” in Warsaw in early July which will enhance the alliance’s defensive and deterrent presence in Poland and and the rest of Eastern Europe. The Moral Case for Competitive Capitalism, Revisited
There is error in both sides of the arguments. Those errors have led to serious distortion, both economic and social. It is my contention that the solution lies in properly empowering the natural community of 150 individuals with access to fiat credit and to the rule of twelve. This creates a naturally limited economic floor that eliminates the possibility of poverty, while producing individuals transitioning to virtual communities at need to create larger pools of capital and wealth. Both levels honor capital enterprise as it is naturally rewarding to a defined community. Th... more »
Why Give Breaks to Huge Corporations When We Could Invest Public Money Down the Street?
Fundamentally large corporations have access to credit that smaller corporations do not. When that fails, it should be time to dis-invest. However we find instead that they quickly lobby for cash and incentives that will sustain them. This breeds dinosaurs. I am a firm supporter of providing credit as far down the food chain as is practical and micro finance shows us just how deep that really is. Better yet, if government finance and support were blocked after a set ceiling of perhaps ten percent of any given industry or the largest competitor we would create an incentive... more »

How The Meaning Of Cancer Has Changed
The real defense against cancer happens to be lifestyle as is generally obvious. It is just difficult to live up to. In the meantime we have been making progress in our general understanding of the many aspects of the disease. What is clear is that our understanding has become far richer and that is good. Intervention that impacts the immune system appears contraindicated so far. How Money From Pharmaceutical Companies Sways Doctors’ Prescriptions
This is actually an important question. Yet the amount of cash value involved is barely significant. What is significant is the level of social interaction attested to by the luncheons and the speaking fees. This develops a sense of obligation and brand loyalty that becomes irresistible and that is the marketing strategy. worse, anything else would fail. So let us not be stupid. The defense is to ask your pharmacist or even your doctor for the non brand version. Trump: If I Am Assassinated There Will Be Civil War
Grassroots political observers think Donald Trump is right to believe there could be an uprising leading to a civil war if the popular Republican presumptive nominee is assassinated. Trump moved ahead of Hillary Clinton in the presidential polling averages for the first time this week, while the death threats against him became louder and more insistent. Teenager Discovers Lost Mayan City
A Canadian teenager has discovered a lost Mayan city by comparing ancient Mayan star charts and modern satellite images in his bedroom, proving yet again that most scientific discoveries begin life as ‘kooky’ conspiracy theories dismissed by the mainstream. 15-year-old William Gadoury, from Saint-Jean-de-Matha, Quebec, had a theory that Mayan cities were laid out to mirror the constellations and there was still one major city left to be discovered – a theory he was told was nonsense by mainstream Mayan historians. However the teenager wasn’t convinced by the received wisdom. Using ...more »

*"For I have a single definition of success: you look in the mirror every evening, and wonder if you disappoint the person you were at 18, right before the age when people start getting corrupted by life. All other definitions of success are modern constructions; fragile modern constructions."* ~ Nassim Taleb . [Hat tip Scott Powell] . Content is copyright PC.BlogSpot.Com © Permis... more »

It's only right to pause and remember the dead. And perhaps the best way to honor them the other days of the year is by challenging the

#DebtTrapDebbie Loves Corrupt PACs And Corrupt PACs Love #DebtTrapDebbie Back
*Is she schmearing cream cheese on your bagel?* This spring we've had occasion to explain the workings of the sleazy lobbyist and consultant-driven CBC PAC. Although many of the PAC's board are conservative Democrats, it really isn;'t about ideology as much as it's about corruption and careerism. Conservative Democrat Angela Rye is on both boards. Recently the Bernie-hating Rye (of Impact Strategies), who is currently angling for a job at the centrist-friendly MSNBC, blasted "white progressives" on her Twitter account for pointing out that the CBC is a virtual vacuum cleaner for br... more »
