The U.S. Intelligence Community And Saudi Arabia Are Aligned Against Russian President Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin © Michael Klimentyev / Sputnik *Stephen Sestanovich, WSJ:* *The Pentagon, the CIA,
and the Saudis vs. Vladimir Putin* For Russian President Vladimir
Putin, last week was one of the best in a very long time. He got an
agreement with Saudi Arabia to freeze oil production at current levels,
and he got an agreement with the U.S., largely on his terms, for a
“cessation of hostilities” in Syria. Then came this week. On both energy
prices and the Syrian civil war, Mr. Putin has been reminded of how fleeting policy success can be. The Wall Street Journal’s... more »
Chuck Grassley's Obstructionist Role In Blocking President Obama's Judicial Nominee
Senatorial
obstructionist clown show, Mitch and Chuck If you've been following
along with the news about President Obama replacing Supreme Court
Justice Antonin Scalia, you no doubt noticed that the Republicans have
dragged us to the brink of an unprecedented Constitutional crisis. As
far as I can tell, this is the first time in the country’s history where
a hyper-partisan gaggle of right-wing senators are blatantly and
explicitly refusing to do the job the constitution assigns them of

Justice Scalia Was With Bohemian Grove Secret Society Hours Before Death
Supreme
Court Justice Antonin Scalia spent his final moments with members of a
secret society with ties to Bohemian Grove. There has been a great deal
of suspicion surrounding Scalia’s death when initial reports revealed
that; no autopsy was performed on his body, he was found with a pillow
over his head, and Obama decided to snub his funeral. The latest bizarre
revelation that Scalia met with men belonging to the International
Order of St. Hubertus (an Austrian secret society dating back to the

New Book Reveals Beethoven Was Actually Black

the 15th and 16th century history underwent a huge campaign of
misinformation and deception. Caught up in the wave of the history books

Europe’s greatest classical music composers was, in fact, of African
decent. Beethoven was a black man. His mother was a Moor, a group of
Muslim Africans who conquered parts of Europe -making Spain their
capital for 800 years. Stewartsynopsis.com reports: In order to make
such a substantial statement, presentation of verifiable evidence is

Awkward Moments in Transition
Not

Russia Rejects John Kerry’s ‘Plan B’ For Syria
The
Russian Foreign Minister has dismissed alternative plans by the US for a
political settlement of the Syria crisis. On Thursday Sergei Lavrov
rejected claims by his US counterpart John Kerry that there was a ‘Plan
B’ if an imminent truce deal for Syria fails to reduce hostilities in
Syria. Moscow will focus on “Plan A” in accordance to the agreement
signed between the US and Russia on the cessation of hostilities in
Syria and is not looking at “Plan B,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov
said Wednesday. Press TV reports: Other officials in Moscow denied the

The silliness of Bill Gates' carbon equation
*Michael
Crichton predicted the precise link between the demagogy of the Drake
equation and the global warming ideology* From many viewpoints, I have
been an admirer of Bill Gates. He was a classic geek – but he also
managed to become a defining character of the mainstream opinions. When I
learned that he created the BASIC for Commodore 64 that I – and
millions of others – had quite some fun with some 30 years ago, my
excitement for Gates has increased further. There were also moments when
the dynamics went in the opposite direction. At any rate, two days ago,

FIRST REACTIONS: Isaacson calls spacetime a "fabric!"
*THURSDAY,
FEBRUARY 25, 2016Part 4—The Beatles called it Arthur:* For the last
time, we're going to show you what Walter Isaacson said. In almost all
settings, Isaacson is an extremely clear writer. In his best-selling
book, Einstein: His Life and Universe, the passages about Einstein's
life are lucid, clear, interesting, intriguing. Then we come to the
passages—and the chapters—concerning "Einstein's universe," by which we
mean his science. Below, we once again see an early attempt at
explaining a famous part of that science. Granted, we're still in
Chapter One of Isaacson's best... more »
Cultures of fear; one exposed / one pending
It
seems like an ominous coincidence that today’s blanket coverage of Dame
Janet Smith’s review of the BBC’s Savile scandal comes on the same day
as reports on the Rotherham abuse trial: Both cases involve people in
authority turning a blind eye to the terrible abuse that was going on
virtually before their very eyes. Both cases involved ‘cultures of

the victims, or ‘survivors’. At the BBC potential whistleblowers were
afraid to act in case doing so would damage their job prospects; in

Nope. This "Preborn" Victims Law Won't Pass Either

Epp's private member's bill C-484, or "Unborn Victims of Crime Act," was

the purpose of adding another murder charge. It was, simply, a

Renowned British Historian Simon Schama agrees with me that Anti-Semitism Causes Anti-Zionism not the other way around
For
years I have been arguing that many hate Israel because of the Jews,
not Jews because of Israel. It would seem that the eminent British
historian Simon Schama has come to a similar conclusion. 'The antipathy
displayed by many on the Left towards Israel is not an example of
anti-Zionism morphing into anti-Semitism, but a sign that anti-Zionism
is caused by anti-Semitism, the distinguished British historian Simon
Schama argued in the Financial Times Friday.' More here

"Any
ceasefire can be tenuous because tensions and skepticism remain high.
If one side lacks the sincere intention of pursuing a negotiated

instance, one side may use a ceasefire to reconstitute its war-fighting
capacity and/or maneuver its forces into stronger tactical positions.
One side may also undertake other provocative actions that are not
