Is There A Correlation Between Trumpf Fans And Ted Nugent Fans? I'll Guess Yes, A Strong One
Last night I was invited to be a guest on WBZ's *NightSide with Dan Rea*,
to talk about why so many people are urging President Obama to replace
Debbie Wasserman Schultz as chair of the DNC. I've been doing these
Wasserman Schultz interviews on TV and radio for the past two weeks and
they're kind of routine for me now. Tuesday wasn't. I was unaware that I
was going on a right-wing radio show. Now, as it turns out, Rea is a
knowledgeable guy and a gentleman, and a genial host. I had just been
reading Glenn Greenwald's report at *The Intercept* that asserts, quite

The US Naval Ship Debacle In The Persian Gulf: US Caught In Their Lies Again - GPS Navigation On Ships Was Working Fine When Ships Entered Persian Gulf!
Everyone is well aware by now of the huge debacle that happened last week
where two (I had previously said three, but apparently there were only 2
ships involved...) US small naval vessels entered the Persian Gulf and then
"strangely" altered their course towards Iranian territory... The ships
were captured and confiscated by the Iranians, and the sailors on board
were captured and then released days later into American hands... The US
Navy had the audacity to claim that the naval vessels came into Iranian
waters due to "navigational errors" along with the ridiculous claim that

Nunavut’s Government – Nearly a Province?
Canada is a federal country. Simply put that means there are two
governments for every Canadian and those governments divide up the
responsibility for governing between themselves. For most Canadians that
means having a Federal and a Provincial government both of whom have
authority to govern in different areas of life.
So, for example, in Ottawa there are two governments with power over
peoples’ lives – the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
Both governments have independent authority and neither is superior to the
other. So long as the governments legislate wit... more »
Why We Need a Recession
*Guest post by Ronald-Peter Stöferle*
[image: Why We Need a Recession]According to the National Bureau of
Economic Research (NBER), a recession is defined as a “significant decline
in economic activity spread across the economy, lasting more than a few
months.” Often, this is understood as two consecutive quarters of negative
economic growth as measured by a country’s GDP.
Public opinion is generally quite simple in regard to recession: upswings
are generally welcomed, recessions are to be avoided. The “Austrians” are
however at odds with this general consensus — we regard recess... more »

George Osborne Plans To Raid The Pots Of Wealthy Pensioners

tend to allocate more of their annual income into retirement pensions, the
proposed changes would create a multibillion-pound tax windfall for the

Look at *real* wages to get the full story
What does rising prosperity look like?
There is a misconception abroad that a leading measure of rising prosperity
is rising money wage levels. But this ignores what folk actually buy with

And the primary effect of falling prices is a faling cost of living—which

Democrats in 'Group Think' Land

A curious reality about Official Washington is that to have “credibility”

Paper on pine tree genetics chopped for duplication
A paper on genetic variability in Austrian pine trees apparently didn’t

unintentional, according to the note, the result of an apparent failure in

Confusing snow travel arrangements pending, we'll continue our

For today, we thought we'd take a quick excursion into the world of our
culture's highly visible state of disintegration.
In each part of this rolling breakdown, we see the problems which arise in
the absence of traditional gatekeepers. Part of the problem involves the
way the disintegration is getting reported.

A state of emergency has been declared in Michigan as 100,000 of Flint city
