As we predicted, Mark Zuckerberg’s keynote at the f8 conference in San Francisco Thursday introduced some of the most profound changes seen on Facebook since its inception. So many changes, in fact, that it can be hard to keep track. So here’s a handy-dandy guide.

If you are lucky enough to reside in a place where the sun shines for almost 300 days in a year, there is no reason why you would not like to build a small power generating block in your backyard using solar panels. Myth holds that solar panels are expensive to construct, but given below is a simple procedure which will help you construct solar panel capable of generating 60 watts of power that too within a reasonable range of cost.

‎"What's taking place in Congress right now is a kind of political coup. A handful of billionaires have shoved a spanner into the legislative process. Through the candidates they have bought and the movement that supports them, they are now breaking and reshaping the system to serve their interests. We knew this once, but now we've forgotten. What hope do we have of resisting a force we won't even see?"

There are two ways of cutting a deficit: raising taxes or reducing spending. Raising taxes means taking money from the rich. Cutting spending means taking money from the poor. Not in all cases of course: some taxation is regressive; some state spending takes money from ordinary citizens and gives it...

Researchers using novel materials to build photovoltaic cells say their efforts could nearly double the efficiency of silicon-based solar cells. The cells being developed by teams from the University of Arkansas and Arkansas State University have the potential to achieve a light-to-energy conversion rate, or solar efficiency, of 40 percent or better, according to the researchers.

Some of the best aircraft in the world are inspired by unique birds, and this zero emissions jet concept from designer William Brown is no exception. The Lockheed Stratoliner is a hydrogen jet that uses oversized wings to create extra lift for extended high-altitude flights. The design was inspired by the Bar-tailed Godwit, an Australian bird that holds the record for the longest nonstop flight (7,258 miles from Alaska to Australia without feeding!). Like the Godwit, the Stratoliner can go anywhere in the world without refueling.
